Free Speech Works Both Ways Glenn

What do these companies have in common?

WalMart
Best Buy
CVS
GMAC
Allergen
Ally Bank
Broadview Security
Re-Bath
Travelocity
ConAgra
GEICO
Lawyers.com
Men's Wearhouse
Procter & Gamble
Progressive Insurance
RadioShack
Roche
SC Johnson
Sanofi-Aventis
Sargento
State Farm Insurance.

All have confirmed pulling their advertising from Fox News' "Glenn Beck" program in light of his comments that President Obama is a racist. They did not pull their spots from Fox News, but rather requested that their ads do not air during Beck's 5PM program.

Beck can argue that he was merely exercising his rights of free speech [and he was] but so are these companies that refuse to air their ads during his "show".

  1. I am so happy about that. Imagine even WalMart and Geico. Ouch. It most hurt.

  5. I'm glad these left and wish all of them would. Sorry to hear that, WM, because it's probably true.

  6. It seems to me that Glenn Beck's stupidity rings a bell with too many Americans. The moral majority seems to line itself up with bait-mouth Beck.

What keeps people listening and agreeing with this tripe? I would guess abject Patriotism, the stupid side of Christianity, and a great love of hate.
