Look Around. Twenty-to-Twenty-Five-Percent Of Us Are Morons

Wow, we are an ignorant, gullible lot. I mean, at least 20-percent of us are an ignorant and gullible lot. The rest of us, though, need to speak up.

About what, you ask?

Well, it seems that a new poll has been released showing that 20-percent of Americans are increasingly--and incorrectly--convinced President Obama is a Muslim.

Seriously, how stupid are we...or you, because I'm not one of the elite twenty, thankfully.

And that percentage who think Obama is Muslim has gone up, from 11-percent who thought the president was Muslim back in March 2009, while those who say Obama is a Christian, as he himself has said time and again, has dropped to 34-percent.

But the shocking thing is that 43-percent of those polled say they don't have a clue as to what religion Obama practices, up from 34-percent a year ago.

I thought this sudden national rise in public idiocy began when Obama came out, not in favor, but in support, of the COMMUNITY CENTER NOT MOSQUE being built in Manhattan, but it isn't the result of that controversy or his opinions on it. However, in a separate poll, conducted by Time magazine--after Obama said he believes Muslims have the right to build an Islamic center, though he won't take a position on whether they should actually build it--that 24-percent now believe him to be Muslim.

Well, if that's the case--believing the Muslims have the right to build their community center makes Obama a Muslim--then it makes me one, too.

So, where do these folks get their, um, opinions?

Television. They heard it on TV. Six in 10 of those saying Obama is a Muslim said they got the information from the media, with the largest portion — 16 percent — saying it was on television. Eleven percent said they learned it from Obama's behavior and words.

Behavior and words.

Like expressing the fact that American is a country based on Freedom of [and from] Religion. The man stands up for all religions by standing up for one religion and suddenly everyone gets stupid.

What is wrong with people? And what difference does it make if he was, in fact, Muslim? I have said it so many times here that I almost can't stand hearing it again, but...MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS. TERRORISTS ARE TERRORISTS.

And an Islamic community center is not a mosque.

And neither a mosque nor a community center is being built at or on Ground Zero.

It's being built near titty bars and betting parlors, and no one is offended by that, apparently.

We are supposed to be the most progressive nation in the world, and yet we are continually taking steps backwards. I imagine soon, we'll be celebrating witch hunts and burning people at the stake, and stoning non-believers.

A nation of morons. Or at least twenty-percent moron.

Sarah Palin Is A Wingnut

Sarah Palin has a new cause--perhaps she's redirecting her rage at the Bristol-Levi Wedding and Reality Show. This time, she has her knickers in a knot over the proposed mosque near Ground Zero and, on Sunday, The Twit took to Twitter, and asked "peace-seeking" Muslims to understand that the mosque will interfere with recovery from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks:

"Peace-seeking Muslims, pls understand, Ground Zero mosque is UNNECESSARY provocation; it stabs hearts. Pls reject it in interest of healing."

Earlier that day, The Quitter twatted, or twitted or whatever it is you call it:

"Ground Zero Mosque supporters: doesn't it stab you in the heart, as it does ours throughout the heartland? Peaceful Muslims, pls refudiate."

REFUDIATE? Bitch can't even spell. I think she meant r-e-p-u-d-i-a-t-e.

And then she answered her own twat by saying:

"Peaceful New Yorkers, pls refute the Ground Zero mosque plan if you believe catastrophic pain caused @ Twin Towers site is too raw, too real."

Of course, since Sarah Palin has no knowledge or use for the truth, she subsequently deleted the original post with the misspelling and posted this note: "'Refudiate,' 'misunderestimate,' 'wee-wee'd up.' English is a living language. Shakespeare liked to coin new words too. Got to celebrate it! "

Shakespeare, you fucktard, understood the English language, and didn't have to go the university travelling method just to earn a degree.

This Palin Twitter Rage is the result of current plans to build a $100 million 13-story mosque and Muslim community center two blocks from Ground Zero in New York City. It has already received some of its building permissions and has the support of Mayor Michael Bloomberg and state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate.

Thousands have protested the proposed mosque because they wrongly believe it was Muslims who committed those terrorist attacks on the United States on 9/11.

It was not Muslims. It was Muslim terrorists.

Say it with me: Muslims are not terrorists. Terrorist are terrorists.

A Muslim is a person who follows the Islamic religious faith, just like, yes, Christians and Christianity, Jews and Judaism, Catholics and Catholicism. And they have the right to have a mosque wherever they can build one.
