Bobservations

There’s this thing at our house where I go back to the office to pay bills, work on my blog, do paperwork, or whatever, and Carlos comes back about every few minutes to ask me this or that, or show him this or that. I always joke that if I want Carlos around just get on the computer and he’ll show up.

Last Saturday, he did just that; every four minutes or so … help move a table … fix the new duster he bought … tell him what color that shirt is. The last time he came back, I answered his question and then told Siri to set a five-minute Carlos-Is-Going-To-Annoy-Me timer and she said:

“You five-minute Annoy Me timer is set.”

I.Died.

Carlos.Sulked.

This episode of Cats is from August 2011 and is entitled WTF? It's Monday And I'm As Happy As A Basket Of Cats

Except these two don't look so happy .......

The late greats MaxGoldberg and Tuxedo, BFFs.

One of Cankles lapdogs is of the Homosexual breed and is named Scott Bessent ... why he would work for an anti-LQBTQ+ asshat is amazing to me ... but even more amazing is that this week Bessent actually said that Cankles told him all of Melanie’s female friends—AKA other Slovenian hookers—have asked to be set up with Bessent but are stunned he’s gay.

Uh huh.

Now to scrub my eyes and mind of everything Bessent, howsabout some outdoorsy cakes?

Talk about a foot fetish.

Alexander Skarsgård is well known for his fashion fearlessness, and his latest promotional tour he hit the “Wicker” red carpet in London in an eye-catching all-gold Saint Laurent suit and some freaky footwear.

What say you about the shoes?

For those of you drinking the Amazon Kool-Aid please remember this every Prime Day …

Bezos and Amazon help fuel ICEstapo deportation.

Bezos and Amazon gave $100 million to Cankles’ inauguration,

Bezos and Amazon scrapped plans to display tariff costs after pressure from Cankles.

Bezos and Amazon donated to Cankles’ ballroom and the destruction of the East Wing.

Bezos and Amazon want to reboot The Apprentice with Cankles’ Coke-headed son.

Seriously. Eat the rich.

Kacey Musgraves has zero fucks to give and took a swipe at fired former Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem, after Noem took slammed Musgraves for having Texas Senate candidate James Talarico at her concert over the weekend by saying:

“I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.”

Smack! Bam! Pow!

And then … Kacey Musgraves has a mariachi band of teenage brothers detained by the ICEstapo open another one of her concerts in Texas.

That’s the energy we need.

Raphael Diogo is an American model of Brazilian descent, renowned for his undeniable presence in the fashion industry and his background as a Ju-Jitsu world champion so Would You Let Him Hit You or Would You Hit It?

Know The Facts and ...

Here's some information, some facts, of what's happening in this country and what  we want, what we’re getting, and how do we make our needs heard …

An ICE officer walked up to a Southwest gate at a Dallas airport and said he needed to board the plane. The gate agent asked a simple question:

“Do you have a warrant signed by a judge?”

He replied ‘No,’ but said he had an administrative warrant—a form ICE fills out for itself. It is not a judicial warrant and does not give an officer the right to walk down a jet bridge.

So the agent said, ‘No.’ The ICEstapo asked for the passenger list and was again told, ‘No.’ He asked to look at the computer screen while people boarded, so he could see the names himself. No again.

Three refusals. He left without an arrest.

Here's what makes this matter beyond one flight. The ICEstapo counts on people not knowing the difference between the two kinds of warrants. That confusion is the tool. It is how doors get opened that don't legally have to be opened.

One person at a gate knew the difference and acted on it, alone, mid-shift, with no lawyer standing behind them and no guarantee anyone would ever hear about it.

That's not a small thing. That's the whole thing. Know your rights.

That’s The Resistance.

Here’s a quick message to all sane Republicans and I know you’re out there:

He pardoned 1600 violent criminals and you said nothing.

He bulldozed the East Wing and you said nothing.

He interfered with the release of the Epstein Files and you said nothing.

He took over the Kennedy Center and named it after himself and you said nothing.

He accepted a $400 million gift from a  foreign government and you said nothing.

He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil and you said nothing.

He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide and you said nothing.

He attacked a nation during mediated negotiations and you said nothing.

His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one and you said nothing.

He alienated and insulted our allied and you said nothing.

His ICEstapo terrorized and murdered US citizens and you said nothing.

He committed murder on the high seas and you said nothing.

He co-opted the Department of Justice and directed it to prosecute his enemies and you said nothing.

It’s time you start talking.

Attorney General Todd Blanche AKA the President’s Personal Attorney said:

“I’m not sure of the uproar of having Border Patrol or ICE at a polling station. What’s the risk?”

Here’s the answer, Todd:

Because it’s illegal. Federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 592 prohibits deploying “troops or armed men” to locations where elections are held, to prevent interference and intimidate.

You’d think the so-called Attorney General would know that.

Now, let’s talk about the GOP and their campaign of fear regarding transgender athletes and show some facts:

There are more active Ku Klux Klan chapters in this country than there are trans athletes.

There have been more child marriages in this country this year than there are trans athletes.

There have been more school shootings in America in 2026 than there are trans athletes.

There are more antigovernment extremist groups in almost every single state in this country than there are trans athletes.

It’s not trans athletes; it’s fear mongering and hate speech.

And the lies don’t stop … Cankles is taking credit for the cost of prescription drugs prices falling 3.1%, the biggest drop since 1963 but … Medicare’s first negotiated drug prices kicked in this year, cutting prices on 10 major drugs by 38% to 79% because of ...

Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.

A law that not one single Republican voted for and yet they are taking credit.

Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men in the world, wants YOU—not me because I don’t buy anything from  Amazon—to tip his employees during these hot summer months.

I guess $40 to $80 million a day doesn’t buy as many bottles of water as we thought.

EAT THE RICH!

So, if it’s safe to mail Tax Refunds, Social Security Checks, Stimulus Checks, Prescription Drugs, Passports, Driver’s Licenses or the actual ID that you need to vote, then why isn’t is safe to Vote By Mail?

Asking for a country.

I understand why people are having such a hard time deciding which party to vote for in the Midterms.

I mean, the Democrats may have disappointed you.

And then with Republicans you have Child-Raping Murderers running Concentration Camps with our Tax Dollars draining the US Treasury directly into their Offshore Bank Accounts while making the Planet uninhabitable and the Food Poisonous.

It’s a real Sophie’s Choice, isn’t it?

So Vote as if ...

Your skin is not white

You need medical care

Your spouse is an immigrant

Your land is on fire

Your child is transgender

Your home is flooded

Your sister is a victim of gun violence

Your brother is gay

Your water is unsafe

Your daughter is a sexual assault survivor

Privilege has no place in elections but empathy does.

And this is your reminder that no federal election in the United States has ever been canceled or postponed due to war or any other reason.

The US Constitution does not grant any President any authority to unilaterally delay or cancel a federal election.

Period.

A text exchange between Carlos and me yesterday …

Me: I’m leaving work. I’ll drop your book at the Post Office on my way home.

Carlos: Thank you.

Me: 💗💗💗

Carlos: How come you love me so much?

Me: I have no idea.

Carlos: Especially since I am a horrible person. [Of note: a dear old old old old old friend of his called him a horrible person because of some family situation going on]

Me: True dat.

Carlos: What? You think I’m horrible—

Me: Who is this? :::crackle::: crackle::: I can’t :::crackle::: hear you :::crackle:::

I love toying with him.

This Cat Tale, er, Tail, is from September 2009 and is entitled Rule Breakers:

We have rules at Chez Smallville. Cats can get on the beds, on the desk, on the sunroom furniture and on the living room couch. They cannot get on the counters, the tables, the dining room chairs or any of the four new chairs in the living room. And they listen. They know where they can go, and where they cannot.

So, imagine my surprise to walk into the living room and find Tuxedo and MaxGoldberg nesting in a No-No Chair! And look at Max; he's got that Uh-oh face. Tuxedo, on the other hand, couldn't even be bothered to wake up.

At least not until I yelled Geddownfromthere!

Cat scatter.

I miss those Little Devils.

How to tell the world you’re thirsty for attention without saying a word.

Well, if you're Lisa Rinna, you appear at Cannes because there are cameras there, and you're dressed like Disco Bride of Frankenstein.

Here’s a palate cleanser to scrub my brain of Rinna … the other day I ordered a delivery of cake flour and the wrong thing was delivered.

Or was it?

So it goes like this … billionaire asshat Jeff Bezos went on a rampage over NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani “villainizing” billionaires so the very next day Mamdani launched a collection effort against Bezos and Amazon and recovered over $9 million in unpaid idling fines which occurred when Amazon drivers left their trucks illegally idling on the streets while they made their deliveries.

Bezos’ $2 trillion company ignored the tickets and fucked around and found out that Mamdani ain’t playin’.

Junior was getting married in the Bahamas over the weekend and his Daddy couldn’t attend because, he said, being president made it impossible—though it never stopped him from golfing or feeding his fat corroded face at Mar-Illegal—but is being too busy the real reason?

See, the real reason is that the Bahamas' Immigration Act generally restricts entry to individuals deemed "undesirable," including convicted criminals, sex offenders, and those with a history of sexual offenses … like the US President.

Makes me wonder if Junior didn’t plan the wedding in the Bahamas on the hopes that Daddy would get arrested.

In South Carolina MAGAt and  former police officer Waylon Rogers, along with Matthew Fay, Allen Folz, Paula Folz, Edward Storer, and Jeanine Storer, have been charged in an alleged child sex ring.

NOT TRANSGENDER! NOT A DRAG QUEEN! NOT AN IMMIGRANT!

Tennessee officials will pay $835,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by Larry Bushart who was jailed for more than a month over a Facebook post he made about the murder of conservative activist racist and asshat Charlie Kirk. Bushart, a retired police officer, spent 37 days behind bars before authorities dropped the felony charge against him in October; Bushart now says:

“I am pleased my First Amendment rights have been vindicated. The people’s freedom to participate in civil discourse is crucial to a healthy democracy. I am looking forward to moving on and spending time with my family.”

A win for Free Speech!

Bobservations

The other night Carlos and I sat down to watch Jeopardy, as is our wont, just as they were announcing the contestants. They introduced one Madeline Kaplan and Carlos said:

“Madeleine Albright?”

And because I’m who I am and cannot help myself, I said:

“Yes, the Secretary of State under Bill Clinton in on Jeopardy tonight, but even more interesting is that she’s been dead since 2022.”

I cannot help myself and thank the goddess every single day that Carlos gets me.

This Tale of Tuxedo comes to us from August 2009 when he decided to “help with the household chores.

He was always such a good boy.

I was thinking … if it’s okay for America to kidnap Maduro and his wife and put them on trial then wouldn’t it also be okay for Europe to kidnap Cankles and Melania and put them on trial?

Asking for a country.

Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, the greediest man in the world, is selling his $500 million yacht because he says it’s too big to manage and costs about $30 million a year to operate or because it attracts too much attention, so let’s dissect:

He didn’t think it was too big to manage when, during construction in Rotterdam, the historic Koningshaven Bridge AKA De Hef had to be partially dismantled just to get the yacht out of dry dock … the ship was eventually towed without its masts to avoid the bridge.

And he didn’t realize that a 417-foot-long yacht, the largest yacht in the world, would attract a lot of attention.

Clearly one of the world’s richest men, who can afford a half-billion-dollar toy doesn’t have the good sense god gave a goat … or maybe the missus’ plastic surgery bills are too high.

Everybody is always talking about Saturn and the beautiful rings around the planet but here’s one celestial body with rings that I find far more interesting.

Ready for liftoff!

Speaking of Melanie …attendees at a White House event burst into laughter on Wednesday after the Slovenian Hooker praised her husband’s “empathy”:

“Most know my husband as the strong commander-in-chief, but his empathy transcends the role.”

I get it that English isn’t her strong suit, but c’mon Melanie. How empathetic was he when you were giving birth to his child and he was out fucking a porn star?

Here’s Katy Perry at the Met Gala Monday night and I can safely say this is the best she’s ever looked.
