Dear Georgia: Kelly Loeffler? Really? You Can Do Better

Dear Georgia

Your Senator, Kelly Loeffler, figthin’ real hard to save her seat, but is she doing it for you, or for her own hateful reasons?

Loeffler is one of the richest people in Congress and has pledged to donate her $174,000 salary to Georgia charities, but she gives to Hate Charities, like an anti-LGBTQ+ group and “pregnancy centers” meant to discourage women from having abortions.

Covenant Care Adoptions is a nonprofit adoption and counseling agency that compares loving gay relationships to bestiality and therefore refuses to work with LGBTQ+ people. The group also attacks transgender people, saying that “rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.”

And while Loeffler gives them money, she’s also doing their bidding; last fall she sponsored a bill to ban trans girls from school sports. The bill—catering to the whims of anti-trans MAGAts—could be interpreted to require genital exams for girls who want to compete in school sports. The irony … the hypocrisy … is that Loeffler is the co-owner of Atlanta’s WNBA franchise, whose players have organized for her opponent, Reverend Raphael Warnock, and whose team captain is a lesbian. She takes money made off an WNBA team and funnels it to anti-LGBTQ+  and anti-women hate groups.

One of the anti-abortion groups Loeffler is funding opposes contraception and tells clients to be abstinent or use the “rhythm method” of only having sex when the woman isn’t ovulating. The group also says that it offers an “abortion pill reversal” despite any lack of scientific evidence that it works.

Yes, go back to the dark ages, ladies, that’s what Kelly Loeffler hopes.

Loeffler’s opponent, Raphael Warnock, has a long track record in support of LGBTQ+ people. As the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church—where Martin Luther King Jr. was pastor—he has carried on King’s tradition of advocating civil rights, while including the LGBTQ+ community.

It seems simple: vote for the man who wants to include all Georgians, or vote for the millionaire who funds anti-trans hate and anti-women ideologies.

Seems simple enough. And that’s without even talking about how she sold off stocks to add to already considerable fortunes at the outbreak if the pandemic. People were dying and this bitch was cashing a check.

Cast some goddamned Blue Votes. Rid yourselves of Loeffler and David Perdue.

Cast A Goddamned [Blue] Vote

... because of these asshats and morons and murderers:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell … the most vile of the ReTHUGlicans … has said he will not put a potential $1.8 trillion+ stimulus  deal, struck by Democrats and the ______ administration, to a vote because he and his “members think half a trillion dollars, highly targeted is the best way to go.”

A third of the money, highly targeted, means corporations and the wealthy first, while middle- and lower-class Americans fight to put food on the table, not get evicted and not get infected because, oh yeah, no healthcare.

If the idea that Mitch McConnell doesn’t give a damn about you during this pandemic, while he rushes through a SCOTUS nominee, then you are either part of the problem or not paying attention.

Kentucky? Vote this motherfucker out.

And do it for this, too … way back in February, the ______ administration warned “elite” AKA wealthy, insiders that the COVID-19 pandemic might have a drastic economic impact.

He warned the richest Americans of an impending pandemic so they could cash out of the markets while keeping mum about the devastating impacts on COVID-19.

Under ______, the rich got rich, and stayed rich, while the poorest among us died.

America? Vote this motherfucker out.

Georgia’s GOP Senator David Perdue purposely mocked and mangled the pronunciation of Democratic vice-presidential nominee Senator Kamala Harris’ name at a _______ Superspreader rally by saying:’

“Kamala—Kah-ma-la, or Kah-mah-la, or Kamala-mala-mala—I don’t know, whatever.”

Perdue has served in the Senate with Harris for three years and sits with her on the budget committee and yet now he cannot pronounce her name because he’s either an utter moron, or a racist pandering asshat.

Georgia? Either way, vote this motherfucker out.

During a meeting with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Editorial Board, Texas GOP Senator John Cornyn was asked if he and other RepTHUGlicans regretted not pushing _____ harder to combat COVID-19 …or maybe take him on for some of his political stances that were unpopular or stood little chance of passing in Congress.

Cornyn said his relationship with _____ was “like a lot of women who get married and think they’re going to change their spouse, and that doesn’t usually work out very well.” And then added:

“I think what we found is that we’re not going to change President _____. He is who he is. You either love him or hate him, and there’s not much in between. What I tried to do is not get into public confrontations and fights with him because, as I’ve observed, those usually don’t end too well.”

So, Johnny, you let him spew his racist “good people on both sides” bull … his keeping kids in cages horror stories … his stirring up hate and racial divisiveness to a fever pitch … and let him kill 218,000+ Americans …. Because you wanted to avoid a public fight that you probably wouldn’t win?

Where’s your fucking backbone? Or were you just another _____ lapdog who did his bidding so he wouldn’t’ bully you?

Texas? Vote this motherfucker out.

CAST A GODDAMNED BLUE VOTE!

Republican Publicly Prays For Obama's Death

I’m not a religious man, but I do believe that we are, for lack of a better word, “pray” at times. Sure, we might call it a wish, or a hope, or a dream; we might call it “putting it out there” in the universe. But we all ask for “stuff,” like hoping our friends and family are safe in bad weather; wishing that the plane won’t crash; putting it out in the universe that your loved one pulls through an illness or surgery.

We all do it. What most of us don’t do, however, is call ourselves Christian, and then pray for the death of another human being.

No, that would be Georgia Republican Asshat Senator David Perdue who offered a prayer for the death of President Obama.

Yes. He. Did. While at an event called Faith and Freedom he asked attendees to pray for Obama:
"We should pray like Psalm 109:8 says: Let his days be few"
Here’s the rest of that prayer:
Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
How is this possible? How can someone who calls themselves a good Christian man, a man of faith, attend some sort of Faith and Freedom Redneck Cousin-F**king Hoedown and ask people to pray that children are left fatherless, and wives become widows.

And how is it possible that the Georgia Senate did not censure Perdue for his Death Wish …

Oh, yeah … Georgia.

Never mind.
