Bobservations

The other day Carlos asked if I could help him download some sheet music on the computer after work, so at the end of the day I gave him a call:

“I can help you with your little project, Mr. Harris.”

“Why are you calling me?”

“To help you with the sheet music!”

“I am in the other room.”

And?”

I.Kill.Me.

This Tuxedo memory is from January 2019 …

"The other night, while watching the telly, Tuxedo climbed into my lap, curled up and fell asleep. Ozzo walked over to Carlos, who tried to get Ozzo into his lap, but Ozzo knows who’s the boss, and when he looked at me for permission, I said:

“No.”

“It’s unfair. The cats can get on all the furniture, but Ozzo can’t.”

“The cats have retractable claws. Ozzo doesn’t and he can ruin the furniture.”

“But Tuxedo is in your lap, why can’t Ozzo sit in mine.”

“Because there are different rules for dogs and cats in this house, just like there are different rules for white people and Mexicans.”

Ouch. Lucky for me, he laughed ... and then started building a wall."

The good news is, that while I have a vile sense of humor, Carlos gets it, and he loves it.

Christopher Meloni standing there, perhaps buck nekkid, and holding that weight is … is … I don’t know what it is but I love looking at it.

Several prominent Democratic figures are set to speak at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this month … from President Joe Biden, former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

President Jimmy Carter’s grandson Jason Carter is also confirmed to be speaking as a representative for his grandfather who recently said he wants to live long enough to vote for Kamala Harris.

I saw this on Facebook this morning, with the question: Well, he certainly has a type, doesn’t he?

Apparently Joaquin Phoenix was all set to star in an NC-17 gay romance film that he  created and championed and was set to be directed by the acclaimed Todd Haynes until this week when he abruptly dropped out.

No word from Phoenix but the rumor is he became a’scurred of playing gay in some of the more explicit scenes in the film—which, again, he endorsed—but maybe someone else could step into the role …

Cue Anthony Bowens, an out professional wrestler, responded to a post from actor and filmmaker Kit Williamson who posted:

“What this really proves is that studios are ONLY comfortable making high budget ‘gay movies’ if there’s a straight lead. Even in a Todd Haynes movie. Even if it means losing 7 figures. They’re not interested in recasting, [because] a gay actor, to them, can never be a ‘star.'”

And now Bowen has tossed his, um, hat, into the ring and all I can say is, I’d see Bowen in the film before shelling out my hard-earned coins for a “gay” Joaquin.

Olympic women's boxing champion Imane Khelif certainly endured more punishment outside the ring than inside as right-wing trolls launched a barrage of lies about her gender and gender identity so now Khelif has brought a criminal complaint against some high-profile individuals, including transphobic bigots and morons like  J.K. Rowling and Elon Musk.

Rowling and Mush have both been named in a criminal complaint filed to French authorities over alleged 'acts of aggravated cyber harassment' against Khelif. Her lawyer, Nabil Boudi, filed a legal complaint with a special unit in the Paris prosecutor's office that combats online hate speech.

Good. You can have your hate thought, and your lies, but when you spread it around there can be consequences.

Listen, if celebrities want to get plastic surgery to keep their career going or feed their ego I am not one to complain, BUT … why do they all start looking like Asian women?

Because It's MY Blog, That's Why

Well, Christopher Meloni, a Husband-In-My-Head since I first saw him in a 1991 TV movie called In A Child’s Name when I was a much younger queering,  has apparently broken the internet with his body.

Christopher, who playsDetective Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime, got a little bit nekkid when he shot the cover of Men’s Health, where he shows off by tugging a vintage car, doing squats and posing blissfully nude with only a gym weight concealing his, um, er, firearm.

The ripped and tatted Meloni says he was stunned to make the cover at age 60, but realizes all the credit goes to his ass:

“There’s kind of a thing about my butt … People are really into it.”

Oh yes I ...well, I mean, some people, are. But more than all that ass admiration, Meloni believes “it’s cool as sh-t” to be on the cover of Men’s Health at his age:

“The aspect of age comes into play as far as the cover of [this magazine] and how I feel about it. A friend of mine said, ‘Did you ever think in a million years you’d be on the cover of Men’s Health?’ I said, ‘Certainly not at age 60.’”

If this is sixty … hot, beefy, bendy and fun.

Oy, I feel faint.

Zaddy Christopher

You can have your Pratt or your Evans, and even your Hemsworth, as long as you leave Meloni for me.

Just sayin’.

Plus, he’s not a Chris, he’s a Christopher and something new to me, he’s a ‘zaddy,’ AKA "a really handsome guy who is very appealing and looks really fashionable. He has to have swag and sex appeal and look sexy and attractive."

That’s Christopher. But he’s also very aware of his, um, zaddy-ness, and has even spoken about the one feature of his that had gotten a lot of notice, and not just from me, this past year: his cakes:

“I’ve been called that a lot, and who am I to argue with it? Sure, I’m a zaddy. This is what has happened. I’ve been blessed with glutes that have an attractive shape. But I have a trainer, and we’re going through bodybuilding phases, and where everyone kind of caught me was that I’d been preparing for one year in a very high-intensity weight training program that actually focused on legs. So I guess you could argue that the glute-peeping public are now reaping the benefits of all that hard work.”
I love that he knows he’s hot, and a zaddy, and has an ass you can bounce a quarter off of, and that he has a good time with it.’

I’d have a good time with it, too.

I Ain't One To Gossip But ...

It looks like former Husband-in-My-head Armie Hammer’s film career is now officially over.

Word comes that, after been dropped by his talent agency, WME, and his publicist, after being replaced by Josh Duhamel in Shotgun Wedding, after having his offer rescinded by producers of The Offer, and with the already finished Death on The Nile perhaps never being released, he was “let go” from a movie called Billion Dollar Spy—the last remaining film on Hammer’s slate.

And it gets worse … earlier this month it was revealed that the LAPD is investigating Hammer for sexual assault stemming from an accusation of “violent rape and physical abuse” by a woman known only as Effie, who is thought to be the person behind the Instagram account  that began Armie’s fall from  grace.

And again, while you might wanna give him some benefit of the doubt about all these accusations, remember he has never denied them, but has only complained only about being kink-shamed … right out of a film career.

Tori Spelling has built a very lucrative career off having kids and not paying her credit card bills, so it’s not surprising that the very thirsty for attention Spelling did something stupid last week.

On April 1—which is, in Tori’s world Act A Fool Day AKA every day—she posted a photo to Instagram of herself with an obvious “baby bump” along with the caption “No. 6” implying she is pregnant once again:

Kind of a stupid joke, and in any way you slice it, not really funny, because a mother who can’t pay her credit card bills should think long and hard before having a sixth child, and to joke about being pregnant is kind of offensive to women who cannot conceive. So, Instagram lashed back at Spelling for being dense, though Tori is so dense that she says the post isn’t her fault …

“Every week, magazine and press outlets ask if I’m pregnant. To set the record straight, I am not. The fact is, after my fifth baby, my body did not bounce back like it had before. That’s when the constant questions of “yet another” pregnancy first began. Unless you’re in the public eye, it is hard to understand what it feels like to be body shamed so publicly. I feel like I have to constantly defend my body when instead, I should be honoring it for the miracle of life it gave me five times. I know pregnancy is an extreme blessing. And I would never intentionally poke fun at losing a child or not being able to carry one. I myself have miscarried. My post was to simply turn the tables for once on the press. They constantly create wild and often hurtful stories about me, my body and my family. For those of you who are hurt, I hear you, I love you. I welcome your stories and I will try my best to be there to support you. Please accept this as a virtual hug to my entire community.”

What a load of bull shit. It’s the media’s fault? The media often body shamed her as looking pregnant because she didn’t lose her body weight as fast as she had before so she posts a picture of herself looking pregnant, or overweight, and claims she’s pregnant? Nice try, Tori. You posted the photo. You called it No. 6. You did this.

The shame isn’t on your body it’s on your lack of having a fully functioning brain and being so desperate for attention you can’t stop to think how idiotic and ridiculous and rude and offensive you are.

Now, just go pay your bills and leave the world alone.

Khloé Kardastrophe has served so many different looks over the years, from new hair, new eyes, new chin, new nose; she’s gone from looking like a Khloé to a Beyonce to Jessica Alba using fillers, filters, and whatever Black Magic Photoshop she can find. But one thing she will not tolerate, nor will any member of That Klan, is an actual, unretouched photo … which may explain why she’s channeling her inner Beyonce—remember when she tried to scrub the internet of her Superbowl Ugly Performance Face—to rid the internet of this recent photo:

[Love to show it to you, but the Kardastrophes cried ‘Copyright Infringement’ and the picture is now gone]

Rumor has it the photo—which is an authentic photo taken in what looks like the backyard of That Woman’s home—was never meant to be shared outside The Klan, but it begs the question why would you share it inside The Klan, who sell themselves every day for social media clicks? But one person did share it and has ALLEGEDLY been threatened with legal action for posting it, except that person ALLEGEDLY got the photo from Khloé’s grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon.

So, what does Khloé do? She immediately posts this posed, edited, filtered photo on the web to try and diminish the response to the first pic:

But here’s another thing: Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, says that while the photo of Khloé is real, and she looks beautiful in it, it was taken without permission by mistake by an assistant, and so it must be taken down. Sounds to me like an awful lot of effort for a photo everyone agrees is real, and shows Khloé looking so, um, beautiful.

But then because, of course, the Kardastrophe’s know that any publicity is good publicity, and so they will keep the story going, Khloé Kardastrophe, herself, has a few words something wrote for her to say about all this:

“In truth, the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment my entire life to be perfect and to meet other’s standards of how I should look has been too much to bear. ‘Khloé is the fat sister.’ ‘Khloé is the ugly sister.’ ‘Her dad must not be her real dad because she looks so different.’ ‘The only way she could have lost that weight must have been from surgery.' You never quite get used to being judged and pulled apart and told how unattractive one is, but I will say if you hear anything enough then you will start to believe it. This is how I have been conditioned to feel, that I am not beautiful enough just being me.”

Um, that’s a nice word salad, except we already know that everyone in the family says she looks beautiful in the picture, and no one who saw the picture said “fat” or “ugly” or “her dad isn’t her dad,” they simply said, “once again Khloé doesn’t look anything like Khloé.”:

But that retouched, filtered, Photoshopped one looks exactly like Khloé … wants you to believe she looks.

And now, for some hot beefy ass … Christopher Meloni’s very nice posterior was recently seen in Brooklyn as he filmed scenes for his new show, Law & Order: Organized Crime. And everyone knows that a Meloni melon is always a pleasure to see, though they are few and far between. But this one was captured while Meloni was doing some kind of stretching move and his pants strained to keep his cakes in check:

And the photo caused such a stir on Twitter, that even one Christopher Meloni was compelled to offer an explanation:

I love that he has fun with this, almost as much I love looking at his gorgeous backside.

Just sayin’.

Bobservations

Kent Taylor CEO of Texas Roadhouse, is giving up his base salary and incentive bonus so that those funds can be made available to assist front-line hourly restaurant employees.

Just sayin’, when this is all over, I may just have to find a Texas Roadhouse and have a bite to eat.
One of the first deaths of a Virginian from COVID-19 was Landon Spradlin, a Christian “musical evangelist” who shared a meme that compared virus deaths to swine flu deaths and that it was a plot against _____, writing:
“It will come and it will go.”
Not before you did, sir.
Billionaire David Geffen took to Instagram to say he is self-isolating during the pandemic and wants y’all to know that he’s safe … on his $590 million yacht:
“Sunset last night … isolated in the Grenadines avoiding the virus. I’m hoping everybody is staying safe.”
To be fair, Geffen’s foundation is a major contributor to LGBTQ rights groups, health clinics, and charities for the homeless in L.A., but, c’mon man, did you have to prove yourself so out of touch?
The Empire State Building debuted a flashing red and white light display, and lit up red, Monday night, an effect intended to represent America’s heartbeat, according to the building's Twitter account:
We’ll never stop shining for you.
Kinda breaks my heart a little.
Well, now we know, and in November we need to make sure _____ knows we know.

Way back on February 5, _____ administration officials rejected an offer of emergency coronavirus funding from Congress. In that meeting was Democratic Senator from Connecticut, Chris Murphy, who Tweeted that day:

They knew in February; were warned in February; and they did nothing.

November is coming
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross is working from his estate in Florida, while the _____ administration tries to limit the economic fallout from the coronavirus outbreak.

Ross said in January the pandemic could be good for U.S. jobs and manufacturing, arguing it might give businesses “another thing to consider when they go through their review of their supply chain.”

Wilbur Ross is a fuckmonkey.
Great news …  Christopher Meloni is bringing his Law & Order: SVU character Elliot Stabler for a new  upcoming NBC crime drama series. Like SVU, Meloni’s series will also be set in New York, centering on “the NYPD organized crime unit led by Stabler.”

I was hoping it would be set in Scotland so we could get Meloni in a kilt.

Life Tabernacle Church was packed for services on Tuesday night after its pastor, Mark Anthony Spell, was charged with six misdemeanor counts of disobeying the powers of the governor for defying the state’s ban on public gatherings amid the coronavirus crisis; he said:
“We have a mandate from the word of God. … We have a mandate from God to praise God in his sanctuary. This is the sanctuary.”
Perhaps COVID-19 is God’s way of thinning the religious wingnut herd?
And now, even though we had Scottish beef[cake] earlier, I need a little more of a palette cleanser, in model David Taylor.

He gets my motor running …floats my boat …tightens my screws …lights my fire … maybe I’ve been cooped up too long.

Still …

Random Musings

I’ve another Carlos story to share ….

Last weekend, I was a wee bit under the weather, with a nasty head, nose and throat cold, so when it came time to do the grocery shopping Carlos volunteered to go alone.

Uh oh. Now, to be fair, he knows what to buy, but he has a tendency to grab whatever’s on the shelf while I like to do a little price-checking and comparison shopping, but, I thought, for a chance to stay home and rest — we had an event to attend that afternoon — I’d risk Carlos and his impulse purchases.

He was gone just over an hour when he returned home and I helped unload the car, and then unload the bags in the kitchen. It seemed a little light to me, but Carlos said he got everything on the list so …

Where’s the deli stuff for your lunches?
I bought it.
Where is it?
Should be there.
And where are the fruits and veggies? Did you not buy any veggies?
No, I bought all that stuff, maybe a bag is still in the car.

No bag. And back in the kitchen I noticed one of our reusable shopping bags was missing—most of them are Kroger blue bags, but we had one black bag from the Bi-Lo when we shopped there one time.

I was sure there was a black reusable grocery bag filled with fruits, veggies and deli stuff, rotting in the noon-day sun in the Kroger parking lot; Carlos was sure there was not, though a call to the store revealed that the black bag, with fruits and veggies and deli stuff, had been left at the cashier.

Carlos instantly blamed the kid who bagged the groceries, though I was slightly more inclined to tell Carlos that maybe he should have seen to it that all the bags were put in the cart. After another thirty minute drive there, and a thirty minute drive home, we had our fruits and veggies and deli stuff.

You know I’m gonna blog about this.
I know … :::sigh:::
There is a lotta talk around the webs and on TV about Chris Meloni's ass, and a lot of it is coming from him.

Yeah, I see why.

It's real, and it's spectacular.
South Carolina’s wingnutted, asshatted, ALLEGEDLY closeted Senator, Lindsey Graham called  the “people in the White house” scumbags over that never-ending Benghazi non-story:

“Our Democratic friends, for the most part, have been in the tank over Benghazi. Some guy said this about me yesterday on the left: The only reason I cared about this was because I have six Tea Party opponents. Well, if that’s true, I’m the biggest scumbag in America. I don’t think that’s true; I know it’s not true It would be almost impossible for Lindsey Graham — given who I am and what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years — not to care about those in harm’s way, who get killed, and not go on to hold the administration accountable that lied about it.  The scumbags are the people in the White House who lied about this.”

Funny, though, Lindsey Graham never once questioned those who died in embassy or consulate attacks under President Bush, and there were thirteen of them, while the Obama Administration has seen just one embassy attack.

Who’s the scumbag, Lindsey? Turn the mirror on yourself.
Last week HGTV announced it would be airing a new show in October called Flip It Forward, featuring brothers David and Jason Benham as house-flippers.

Anti-gay house-flippers, apparently, because a quick Google search by Right Wing Watch revealed that David Benham once led a prayer rally outside of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2012, which he said was needed to stop “homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation” and “demonic ideologies tak[ing] our universities and our public school systems”

David also worked to pass North Carolina’s Amendment One, which enshrined a ban on same-sex marriage and civil unions in the state constitution.

Today HGTV tweeted that it "has decided not to move forward" with the Benham's show.

Good.
Bye.
This week, former Michigan State Representative Lorence Wenke walked away from the GOP over its “out-of-control spending” and “discrimination” against the LGBT community and announced that in November, he will run for state senate as a Libertarian; Wenke was one of just two Republican legislators to vote against the Marriage Protection Amendment to the Michigan Constitution in 2004:

"I support the constitutional right of our gay family members to enjoy the same rights as our heterosexual family members. I was the only legislator to call it what it is — discrimination against our gay brothers and sisters. At that time, three local Republican legislators with gay brothers never said a word in support of gay rights. I challenge them with this question: 'If you will not stand up for your own family members, who will you stand up for?’”

Here’s wishing him luck, and giving him a big Bravo for stepping away from such a negative party.
Richard Branson, CEO of Virgin, well, everything, has joined the boycott against Dorchester Hotels, which are owned by the Sultan of Brunei, over his implementation of an anti-gay law which punishes homosexual acts with death by stoning.

Branson said, via Tweet:

"No @Virgin employee, nor our family, will stay at Dorchester Hotels until the Sultan abides by basic human rights"

Good on him, because, seriously, stoning? In 2014?
Down there in Flori-duh, Chris Sevier, "a former Judge Advocate and combat veteran" has filed a motion to intervene on the Florida gay marriage case on behalf of "other minority sexual orientation groups."

Sevier says that if gay couples "have the right to marry their object of sexual desire, even if they lack corresponding sexual parts, then I should have the right to marry my preferred sexual object."

Which is?

"My porn filled Apple computer."

This is the same  Chris Sevier who sued Apple because the it sold him a computer without warning him about porn pop-ups and websites This is the same Chris Sevier who sued A&E after they fired Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson for his anti-gay rants and it’s the same Chris Sevier who tried to worm his way into Utah’s same-sex marriage battle.

Fortunately, Judge Robert Hinkle, the federal judge manning Florida’s same-sex marriage case has tossed Sevier for now:

"Chris Sevier has moved to intervene, apparently asserting he wishes to marry his computer. Perhaps the motion is satirical. Or perhaps it is only removed from reality. Either way, the motion has no place in this lawsuit."

Common sense – 1, Crazy Loon – 0.
Now for some Drag Race ...

This week’s main challenge was the annual music video for  RuPaul's "Sissy That Walk." The girls were told to bring some fierce "sissyography", er dance moves, and then do a little improv with Ru.

Let's dish ...

Bianca Del Rio. If this bitch doesn't win, I'm'a burn down Mama Ru's house. Okay, that's a bit harsh, but Bianca has been the strongest, most well-rounded, in a non-padded kind of way, drag queen all season, and for many seasons. She's shone on the catwalk, in the challenges, and in the workroom when she took Baby Bird Adore under her wing. Plus, she gets Sarcasm Points™ from me for responding thusly when Courtney Act asked her to say one thing without making it a joke: Okay, you're an asshole.

Adore Delano. I still don't adore Delano, but she has come on strong these past couple of weeks, but I think she needs more time; perhaps she could have been on the Drag Race in season twenty? I loathe her potty mouth, and this comes from a guy who lurves a good f-bomb, and I hate her tacky, garbage bag drag, but there is something there, though it needs more time to perc-Ru-late.

Courtney Act. I am so tired of her "acting" sincere, and I was sickened when she called herself Australia's Drag Queen. Her performance in the video was manic and crazy, like a low-budget Nomi Malone, though she does drag really well. But, again, it's all one-note pretty girl, and that ain't good enough for me.

Darienne Lake, though, finally went home and I kept wondering, How the hell did she stay around so long? There was no way, no way, she'd best RioDelanoAct, and I don't think she could have bested BenDeLaCreme who would have made a killer part of a Top Four. She did rock the lip-sync, and her runway look this week was her best ever, but it was a little too Lake.

What did YOU think?
Oprah's pet designer, who I think she let's sleep in a crate in her bathroom, Nate Berkus married his boyfriend Jeremiah Brent at the New York Public Library on Saturday night.

Congrats, I guess, though it seemed more product placement and TV show than wedding.

See, the ceremony was officiated by Sheri Salata, president of Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions, who noted that Berkus wore a J.Crew suit while Brent wore Saint Laurent, the rings were black gold from Van Cleef & Arpels black gold bands and the linens were provided by Berkus' own fabric line blended with his Target collection.

All they needed was a hashtag and well, I have one: #TheWeddingIsAllPromotional
Up in North Carolina, the battle between Keith Crisco, a moderate, business-friendly Democrat, and former  American Idol loser Clay Aiken came down to a very slim margin.

As the vote-count neared completion, Aiken led by fewer than 400 votes but it looks like he'll keep that lead, though a recount is expected, and will face off against Representative Renee Ellmers, a two-term Republican who defeated GOP challenger Frank Roche.

In other North Carolina news, former drag queen, closeted, self-loathing gay man, and unrepentant liar Steve Wiles, AKA Miss Mona Sinclair lost his election, coming in a distant third in his race.

Boo-freaking-hoo. PS: the Tweet of the Week is all Mona.

And former North Carolina small town mayor Mark Chilton was elected as Orange County register of deeds yesterday. He had campaigned on a promise to issue same-sex marriage licenses. Since no one ran as a Republican, he will run unopposed in the General election in November.

Go on, now, fulfill that promise!
Those Cheney's never met a conspiracy they didn't want to  spread.

Former Second Lady, and Satan's wife, Lynne Cheney dropped in at The O'Reilly Factor to use a book promotion appearance to bash Hillary Clinton on Benghazi and then suggest that the Clinton's are behind that new Vanity Fair article about Monica Lewinsky in order to get it out of the way before the 2016 elections.

Cheney said: “Would Vanity Fair publish anything about Monica Lewinsky that Hillary Clinton didn’t want in Vanity Fair?”...Seems like a strategy to me, or a tactic perhaps..."

Laura Ingraham, FoxNews' lapdog, said:: "That makes perfect sense! I'm really mad I didn't think of it first!"

Seriously? Now Hillary runs Vanity Fair, too.

Sit down Crazies, the little bus will be along soon to take you "home."
Kentucky Attorney General, and, well, because I'm shallow, hottie, Jack Conway, who has refused to defend his state's ban on same-sex marriage, has announced that he will run for governor since current Kentucky asshat Governor Steve Beshear will be term-limited out of office in 2015.

Congratulations, Hot Governor-elect.
