I Didn't Say It ...

Jamie Raskin, Democrat Representative from Maryland, taking Little Mike Johnson apart after he whined that Democrats will investigate GOP corruption if we win the midterms:

"1. Speaker Johnson, you’re obsessing about losing the House but don’t seem to realize it’s because you have no program for the country other than illegal disastrous tariffs, illegal disastrous war and humiliating invertebrate submission to your unraveling cult master.

2. You’re projecting onto us your own comically failed and obsessive investigations into President Biden, the Southern Poverty Law Center, James Comey, George Soros, etc.

3. We obviously must confront the debilitating corruption and authoritarianism you have enabled, but at the same time we’re going to move America forward on all the public goods you have thwarted, like the health care of the people, increasing the minimum wage and protecting our environment.

4. I agree that you 'run the protection program' and 'take care' of all MAGA violators!"

Little Mike Johnson, the Nationalist Christian, AKA the Nat-C, sounds like he’s a Don Corleone wannabe for a low budget gangster flick. And his words need to be echoed by every Democrat running for office.

Johnson cares nothing about We The People, and only cares about the racist, rapist, grifter, con man, pedophile in office.

Hasan Piker, left-wing political commentator, on the GOP lies:

“There’s two major lies that Republicans tell all the time. Number One: Immigrants do crimes in overwhelming numbers. That’s a lie. The evidence is the exact opposite. The evidence shows migrants are responsible for a much lower share of crime per capita that documented citizens are. The second biggest lie is there are far too many people voting in this country and we have to restrict them. The problem is far too [few] people are voting. Voter fraud, not a problem. The real problem is voter suppression.”

Immigrants are about 11-14 million people in this country and the  GOP wants you to believe they commit more crimes than 349 million Americans.

The GOP wants you to believe that too many people are voting in America  but in the 2024 presidential election 174 million people were registered to vote but only 154 million people actually voted.

The GOP is lying to you … again … still.

photo

Robert Reich, political commentator who worked in the Ford, Carter, and Clinton White House, on some Democrats saying the party needs to move away from the left:

“Some Democrats think the party has gone too far left and needs to readjust towards the ‘center.’ Rubbish. Where’s the center between democracy and oligarchy, and why would Democrats want to be there?”

Take a stand, Democrats and quite being so wishy-washy. Work towards the good of We The People until you get it: health care, Social Security solvent; the Green New Deal; immigration; abolish ICE; expand the Court and impose term limits. Every single thing the GOP said they couldn’t accomplish, get done.

photo

Bill Cassidy, GOP Senator from Louisiana, on his shouting match with Cankles over the War Powers Act:

“He asked why would anybody vote for the War Powers Act? As he continued, I said, ‘is that a rhetorical question, or would you like to really know?’ He said, ‘I’d like to know.’ I said, ‘You have not told the American people what’s going on. It was supposed to last four weeks. It’s lasted four months. Our original objectives have not been achieved, and I want to know what’s going on.’ I’m not going to be bullied when I’m trying to get answers for the American people. This is not about me, it’s not about the president, it’s about the American people knowing what’s going on, and right now there’s just like it seems like we’re being told different things by different people.”

Good on Cassidy for taking on the Draft Dodger.

Bad on Cassidy for waiting until after he lost his reelection bid.

photo

Adam Kinzinger, former GOP Congressman, :

“There is a reason no one is at the 50 State Fair in DC, and a reason it’s worth pointing out. [Cankles] took over America 250, a bipartisan organization that’s been around a few years planning these events and turned this into a celebration of himself … so when you have a 30% approval, most Americans are going to tune out.”

We want to celebrate America but Cankles is turning every event into a celebration of himself and nobody wants that!

I Didn't Say It ...

Tara Setmayer, co-founder of the Seneca Project—a movement by women, for women, to rise up against the assault on women's freedoms—dismantling CNN’s resident MAGAt, Scott Jennings, over The Felon’s assertion he is "pro-police" and "backs the blue":

"And it really is something that I cannot tolerate when [The Felon] supporters are trying to sit here and act as though [The Felon]supports and backs the blue. No he doesn’t. You look at what [he] did and what MAGA has done to the police officers who defended our Capitol on January 6. You want to talk about spitting in the face? [The Felon] spit in the face of every single one of those officers who took that oath to protect and serve on January 6, when he pardoned those insurrectionist bastards who wanted to take down our Capitol and stop the free and fair, peaceful transfer of power. So how dare he say this now? It is the reincarnation of George Wallace, of Huey Long, of the disgusting policies of the past that have this strongman desire to use law and order and to fear and demagogue it for people that [The Felon] is channeling right now. So how dare people sit here and say that he backs the blue. He abdicated that because you know what? He did not protect or defend the Constitution and he violated his oath of office. You know who said that? You did after January 6th. [she pointed at Jennings] And that's exactly what he continues to do right now with the way he's throwing around our military, our police, talking about moving us to other states. This is something that people should be very concerned about."

Jennings didn't interject but sat holding his chin in silence as Setmayer unloaded on the MAGA propaganda. In fact, even when she was done, Jennings said nothing, and when he failed to respond,

Later in the segment, Phillip returned to Jennings who admitted that "what happened to the cops” on January 6 “was a disgrace" because "they didn’t deserve to be treated that way" but then he defended [The Felon]’s deployment of the National Guard to D.C. It's telling that even though he was given time to concoct a response, he was still unable to mount a real defense of his cult leader.

Hard to defend a liar with lies.

photo

John Oliver, on has been actor  Dean Cain joining ICE:

“You know, there’s an old saying in Hollywood: if all you can get is Dean Cain, you are f*cked. I’m not saying that ICE isn’t finding people. I’m just saying, when you are reduced to pinning a badge on the 59-year-old star of ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas,’ ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation,’ ‘The Dog Who Saved Holidays,’ ‘The Dog Who Saved Halloween,’ ‘The Dog Who Saved Easter’ and ‘The Dog Who Saved Summer,’ maybe you are in trouble... On the plus side, no need for that guy to wear a mask because the chances of anyone recognizing him are f*cking zero."

Spot on takedown of a desperate has been MAGAt looking for another shot at the spotlight.

photo

Gavin Newsom, California Democrat Governor, on The Felon moving Obama’s official Presidential portrait—and those of the two Bush presidents—to a place where White House Visitors cannot see them:

“Small men hide from history’s giants.”

That gelatinous orange blob is so jealous of Obama that he will sink to hiding a portrait from visitors.

Oh, Cankles, you will go down in history as the worst president ever while Obama will be sitting at the top.

photo

JB Pritzker, Democrat Governor of Illinois, on shielding those Texas Democrats who are opposing the GOP’s attempt at gerrymandering the state for The Felon:

“The fact is that neither Texas not the FBI at the federal level has the authority to arrest these Texas Democrats. They’re welcome to visit Chicago or anywhere in Illinois—to take in the great views of our lake and enjoy the incredible restaurants we have. But they won’t be taking anyone home with them or out of the state. We are protecting those House Democrats—and, frankly, they’re protecting the entire country.”

This is Resistance. This is standing up to liars and traitors and lapdogs.

Take note, America.

photo

Jamie Raskin, Maryland Democrat Representative, on The Felon admitting he has the power to call up the National Guard—albeit for a made-up crisis—which is an admission that he lied about his abilities on January 6:

“I am happy that he acknowledges he has the power to activate the National Guard. That was what he refused to do four-and-a-half years ago when the Capitol, and his own VP, were under attack by the violence he unleashed against us. That was a real emergency. This is not a real emergency. This looks to me like an emergency which is manufactured because of a public relations crisis relating to the Epstein File. He doesn’t want to release the Epstein File so he wants everybody to look in another direction.”

One more made-up crisis to take the news cycle from Epstein.

One more made-up crisis that isn’t working.

Release the files, President Cankles.

photo

Hunter Biden, Joe’s son, responding to Slovenian Hooker, Melanie, and her threat to sue him if he keeps saying that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to The Felon:

“If they want to sit down for a deposition and clarify the nature of the relationship between Jeffrey Epstein … if the President and the First Lady want to do that … I’m more than happy to provide them the platform to be able to do it.”

Go ahead, Melanie, swear an oath and then deny you knew Epstein. Please.

I Didn't Say It ...

Jim Acosta, longtime CNN anchor, giving his final thoughts after the “news” network opted to move his show to the dead of night:

“You may have seen some reports about me and the show, and after giving all of this some careful consideration and weighing in alternative timeslots CNN offered me, I’ve decided to move on. I am grateful to CNN for the nearly 18 years I’ve spent here doing the news. People often ask me if the highlight of my career at CNN was at the White House covering [The Felon]. Actually, no. That moment came … when I covered former President Barack Obama’s trip to Cuba in 2016 and had the chance to question the dictator there, Raul Castro, about the island’s political prisoners. As the son of a Cuban refugee, I took home this lesson: It is never a good time to bow down to a tyrant. I have always believed it’s the job of the press to hold power to account. I’ve always tried to do that here at CNN, and I plan on doing all of that in the future. One final message. Don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to the fear. Hold on to the truth and to hope. Even if you have to get out your phone, record that message. I will not give in to the lies. I will not give in to the fear! Post it on your social media so people can hear from you, too. I’ll have more to say about my plans in the coming days. But until then, I want to thank all of you for tuning in. It has been an honor to be welcomed into your home for all these years. That’s the news. Reporting from Washington, I’m Jim Acosta.”

This is what CNN did to one of its few credible journalists to appease the Nazi in the White House. When the press falls, are we far behind?

Stand up; speak up; resist.

Caroline Kennedy, to US Senators, calling RFK Jr.  a "predator" who cannot be trusted to serve as Health Secretary.

"Dear senators, throughout the past year people have asked for my thoughts on my cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his presidential campaign. I did not comment, not only because I was serving in a government position as United States Ambassador to Australia but because I have never wanted to speak publicly about my family members and their challengers. Now that Bobby has been nominated by [The Felon] to be secretary of Health and Human Services, a position that would put him in charge of the health of the American people, I feel an obligation to speak out. I have known Bobby my whole life. We grew up together. It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because he himself is a predator. I watched his younger brothers and cousins follow him down the path of drug addiction. His basement, his garage, his dorm room were always the center of the action where drugs were available and he enjoyed showing off how he put baby chickens and mice in a blender to feed to his hawks. It was often a perverse scene of despair and violence. He’s always been charismatic, able to attract others through the strength of his personality, his willingness to take risks and break the rules. While he may encourage a younger generation to attend AA meetings, Bobby is addicted to attention and power. Bobby preys on the desperation of parents of sick children, vaccinating his own kids while building a following hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs. It also wasn’t easy to remain silent last year when Bobby expropriated my father’s image and distracted President Kennedy’s legacy to advance his own failed presidential campaign and then grovel to Donald Trump for a job. Bobby continues to grandstand off my father’s assassination and that of his own father. It’s incomprehensible to me that someone who is willing to exploit their own painful family tragedies for publicity would be put in charge of America’s life and death situations.”

I had wondered why she didn’t speak up earlier, and now we know, though I hope it’s not too late to keep this dangerously stupid man out of public office.

photo

Andrzej Stękała, Polish ski jumper, coming out through a moving tribute to his partner of eight years, Damian, who passed away in November.:

"I wondered for a long time if I would ever find the strength to write these words. For years, I lived in the shadow of fear, in hiding, afraid that who I really am could destroy me. Today, however, I don't want to run away anymore. I want you to really know me. I'm gay. For years, I hid it from the world—from you, from the media, and sometimes even from myself. [But Damian] changed my life. He was my mainstay, support, my biggest supporter. Together we shared life, passions, joys and difficult moments. He was everything to me—my home, my heart. We made love in silence, hiding our love from the world to protect what was most important to us. I can't describe the pain that overwhelmed me [when Damian died.] The world we were building together fell to pieces. Every day without him is a struggle, but at the same time a reminder of how infinitely I loved and how much I was loved. I don't want to hide who I am anymore. I am myself—a man who loved and still loves. And I know that he would like me to continue to live in harmony with myself. Until the end of my days, I will carry his name in my heart."

So sad he couldn’t be himself, and show himself to the world, while his love was still alive.

But perhaps he will have a second chance.

photo

Jamie Raskin, Maryland Democratic Congressman, giving an epic takedown of The Felon's lawless mass pardon of violent January 6th insurrectionists:

"The chairman began by saying that the point here is to restore the rule of law ... restore the rule of law ... Can you even pretend to do that if you stand by and support [The Felon] who on day one—as the chairman of the committee just said—day one of his presidency, pardoned fifteen hundred insurrectionists including hundreds of people who violently assaulted and attacked American police officers? Let's just take one person who is free today, Julian Khater, who had been convicted after having every due process protection, the right to counsel, the right to cross-examine witnesses, the right to introduce evidence, but they had him completely. They knew exactly what happened. Most of this was videotaped so the whole world could see it. Well, Julian Khater repeatedly violently assaulted our officer protecting us in Congress, Officer Brian Sicknick, who then proceeded to have several strokes and died on January the 7th, 2021, the next day. The family of Officer Sicknick is absolutely devastated and demolished by what's just happened. I invite any of my colleagues, including the members new to this committee who maybe weren't here on January 6th and didn't experience the trauma of that violent insurrection when we saw a mob marauding through here yelling 'Hang Mike Pence! Hang Mike Pence!' and looking to assassinate Nancy Pelosi. And now you have the temerity to come forward and say this is about public safety? How much safer are we now with these fifteen hundred criminals at large in Washington D.C. and going out into the country? Are you vouching that these people are not going to be attacking any other police officers? Are you vouching that they're no longer a threat to public safety? What an outrage! What a scandal!"

The truth is that there is no defending Trump's pardons on anything other than purely partisan grounds. He released these criminals because they support him. He doesn't care that they attacked police officers. He doesn't care that they might do it again. All that matters is that they're in his MAGA cult.

Bowen Yang, out SNL cast member, on auditioning for the show and not being pigeonholed by his identity:

“The fact that there hadn’t been an East Asian person who couldn’t pass as anyone else and be on camera here, that scared the shit out of me. But I think that attitude served me well coming in ‘cause I’m like, ‘I’m never gonna get this, so fuck it. I’m just gonna do what I want.’ I think that’s the right thing to come in here with, just to feel some liberated sense of ‘This is who I am. Take it or leave it, like, literally take it or leave it.’ My point of view will be maybe that of an Asian person or that of a queer person, but also there are just as many things outside of that that have nothing to do with those things. There would be conversations I would have with writers who I felt like were maybe pigeonholing certain things about me, and thankfully that was never met with any toxicity or pushback. It was always, ‘Thank you for telling me. I’m sorry that happened. It won’t happen again.’ What I think has been a nice turning point is being able to joke about those things in a meta way. That’s been the nice 360, full circle thing on it where, after an earned amount of time, I’ve been able to sort of expand that scope a bit.”

It's funny how times change … a decade ago Yang might have been seen only as “the gay one” or “the Asian one,” and yet now he’s seen as one of the funny ones.

photo

Tim Kaine, Democrat Senator from Virginia, speaking to the Senate about a grifter in the White House:

“The president has no authority to make that offer. There’s no budget line item to pay people who are not showing up for work. This is a guy who made this promise to contractors again and again and again when he was a private business guy. ‘Oh, come work for me on my casino.’ ‘Come work for me in a hotel.’ ‘We’re going to do a handshake. We’re going to do a contract.’ The contractor does the work and then finds out they get stiffed. So my message to federal employees who receive this is, yeah, the president has tried to terrorize you for about a week and then gives you a little sweetheart offer: ‘If you resign in the next week, we’re just going to pay you for doing nothing for the next seven months.’ Don’t be fooled. He’s tricked hundreds of people with that offer. If you accept that offer and resign, he’ll stiff you just like he stiffed the contractors. He doesn’t have any authority to do this. Do not be fooled by this guy. You were here before he was here, and you’ll be here after he was here. Show up for work. Be diligent. Serve Americans every day. Make their life better. Answer their phone call. Give them an answer. Track down their constituent call. Don’t be fooled by a fake offer because he’s terrorized you in the last week, it would be easy to just resign now and get a check for seven months. Because I can tell you, that promise is worth nothing.”

I remember a story of The Felon buying 300 grand pianos for a casino and then refusing to pay the guy who sold him the instruments, The Felon told the guy to sue him and he’d drag him through court for so long that no monetary reward would be enough to pay his legal bills.

Grifter; fucking lying hypocritical traitorous rapist racist grifter.

I Didn't Say It ...

Dr. Anthony Fauci, talking to CNN about the GOP and MTG coming for him:

“It’s a pattern, Kaitlan, that whenever somebody gets up—whether it’s a news media, you know Fox News, does it a lot, or it’s somebody in the Congress who gets up and makes a public statement that’s responsible for the deaths of X number of people because of policies or some crazy idea that I created—immediately, it’s like clockwork. The death threats go way up. So, that’s the reason why I’m still getting death threats, when you have performances like that unusual performance by Marjorie Taylor Greene in today’s hearing, those are the kind of things that drive up the death threats because there is a segment of the population out there that believe that kind of nonsense.”

As I saw on Facebook yesterday, please remember that Fauci graduated from Cornell and Large Marge can boil corn.

That’s all.

photo

Jamie Raskin, Maryland Democrat, speaking to Fauci at this latest hearing:

“[The GOP] is treating you, Dr. Fauci, like a convicted felon. Actually, you probably wish they were treating you like a convicted felon. They treat them with love and admiration. Some blindly worship them.”

Snap.

photo

Ken Buck, retiring GOP Representative, speaking to Jon Stewart:’

“I think the problem right now is everybody gets their news sources in silos and they just keep getting reinforced with certain ideas. I went to a neighbor’s house the day after the 2020 election, their flag was upside down. There’s a lot of life out there besides arguing about nothing and telling lies, and so I made a choice to go enjoy what I’ve got left. I left because I couldn’t tell the lie. The 2020 election wasn’t stolen. The January 6 defendants aren’t political prisoners. I think there is a leader out there that will unify and help unify America, and it’s somebody who has great morals, somebody who has great leadership skills. A John F. Kennedy. You know, I probably wouldn’t have said this 20 years ago, that he was a great hero, but you look at what John F. Kennedy did in terms of bringing the country together during the Cold War and moving us forward. There is somebody there that will help America heal and move forward. I know it’s not Ken Buck and I know that it’s not one of the two candidates leading the country in the polls right now.”

I think it’s Pete Buttigieg and if we can keep Hair Furor out of power, we can get a President Pete in 2028.

So Vote Blue for the future.

photo

Stormy Daniels, asking Melanie to leave her crooked husband—not because he f*cked a porn star but because he’s a convicted felon:

“I don’t know what their agreement may or may not be, but Melania needs to leave him. Not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon. It’s been proven he is abusive; he was found liable for sexual assault and tax fraud and is now a criminal. He’s neither Teflon Don nor Teflon Con anymore.”

Yeah, I imagine Melanie has had a team of lawyers rewriting her prenup every other day to make sure she gets more and more coins the longer he stays with Hair Furor.

photo

Kevin Maxen, the Jacksonville Jaguars strength coach, celebrating his first Pride since coming out last summer:

“Today I get to celebrate the start of my first Pride Month, as open and true to myself as I possibly could be. With all the fear and concern regarding LGBTQ inclusion in sports, I was very worried about how I would be welcomed and viewed by my peers, but after publicly coming out before the start of training camp this past summer, the Jaguars proved to me that no matter what, who, or how you identify, you are supported, loved and valued.”

The Jaguars were one of the first pro sports teams to share a pro-LGBTQ Pride Month message on June 1; even team owner Shad Khan said:

“Kevin is a Jacksonville Jaguar through and through, and a key member of our football team and community. I look forward to seeing Kevin next week at training camp and hope that he comes to work each day during camp and through the season feeling confident, free and at peace.”

It’s doubtful the Jaguars would have been this on-top of Pride Month without an out coach.

photo

Adam Schiff, California Democrat Representative, on Hair Furor’s daughter-in-law minion, Lara and her whines about the trial:

“Well, first, in terms of Lara _____’s interview, and her complaining about the case being tried in New York before New York jury, if you don’t want to be tried in front of a New York jury, then maybe don’t commit so many crimes in New York City. It’s pretty simple. And that jury was selected in part by [Hair Furor] and his attorneys. They vetted each of the jurors. He had every right that every other criminal defendant has in that courtroom. And they found—this ordinary jury of peers found him guilty on every single count. So if you don’t want to be tried in New York, don’t commit crimes in New York. But he got the same due process as any other person and that’s exactly the way it should be.”

Facts are facts, Lara.

photo

Hair Furor, on Fox & Friends Weekends, lying cuz it’s all he does:

“I beat her. It’s easier when you win. And they always said lock her up, and I felt—and I could have done it, but I felt it would have been a terrible thing. And then this happened to me. Hillary Clinton—I didn’t say lock her up, but the people said lock her up, lock her up. Okay. Then, we won. And I say—and I said pretty openly, I said, all right, come on, just relax, let’s go, we’ve got to make our country great. And it would have been—think of it, you lock up the wife of a president of the United States.”

Seriously, how many hundreds of times did he effing say it in front of his cult, in front of a goddamned microphone, in front of a f*cking camera, and now he says he never said it.

photo

David Sedaris, humorist and author, on the choices for president in 2024:

“I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. ‘Can I interest you in the chicken?’ she asks. ‘Or would you prefer the platter of shit with broken glass in it?’ To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked.”

I don’t need the shit and shards of glass, do you?

I Didn't Say It ...

Maria Shriver, journalist, reacting to Buttker’s speech:

“I’m happy for Mr. Butker’s wife, Isabelle, that she’s happy in her chosen vocation/ Good for her. But she should let her husband know that not all women can make that choice, even if they wanted to. Most families can’t get by without both parents working/ It’s a luxury to get the choice she has gotten. The vast majority of women have to put food on the table, while also raising kids, caring for aging parents, running companies, running for office to give us a better world … the list goes on! And men, well, are they really the ones who set the tone for the culture? Can we not all set the tone for the future? Women, men, gay, straight—of course we can! I will not tell Mr. Butker to stick to kicking but I would suggest next time he speaks to women first and listens to someone with a clearer take on where most women find themselves in 2024.”

Sadly, men like Butker don’t listen … especially to women. But he can live the life he wants, and have the kind of wife he wants, but he cannot say that women need to strive to be married and have children because that’s their truth.

The truth is that Butker is a professional athlete and a lot of professional athletes cheat on their wives with other women, and perhaps in Butker’s case, other men. So, when he decides to dump his stay-at-home-raise-my-children-do-as-I-say wife to get with his latest piece, know that since you wanted her never to work, that you will be talking care of her financially for the rest of her life and yet will no longer have any say in how she lives that life.

photo

Lindsey Graham, South Carolina's GOP Senator and former Miss Cotton-Tail 1973, on Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito flying an upside-down American flag at his house following the insurrection at the US Capitol:

“I don’t know what role―he said his wife was insulted and got mad―I assume that be true, but he’s still a Supreme Court justice. And, you know, people have to realize that moments like that, to think it through.”

Alito and 'think it through'? Not ever happening. And, like any good rightwingnut, Alito blamed his wife for putting up the flag after a dispute with neighbors over “insulting language” on yard signs. Yeah, Mrs. Alito climbed a ladder to the second floor of their house and hung that flag.

Fuck off, Sammy.

photo

Patrick Mahomes, Butker’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate, giving a toast at the Time100 Gala:

"I'd like to raise a glass to a new era in sports. A era where women's sports is getting the attention it deserves. The real reason you should care about women's sports is because they're incredible. The talent, the narratives, the personalities in women's sports has it all and I think people are finally starting to figure that out. The women's NCAA championship was ESPNs most viewed college basketball game ever. I'm proud of the part my family has played in this movement. As a co-owner of the Kansas City Current, my wife, Brittany, is working hard to grow women's soccer and broaden the path for young athletes, like our daughter."

Luckily, Patrick’s wife didn’t marry Butker because then she wouldn’t be working in women’s sports, she’d be baking cookies and teaching her daughter that she’s less than men.

photo

Junior, responding questions about why his Daddy chickened out on testifying after saying that he “absolutely” would multiple times:

“Why would you justify this insanity? Look at the clowns that they put on there—you don’t subject yourself to that nonsense. You are going into a kangaroo court. There’s nothing more. Nothing less. There’d be absolutely no reason, no justification to do that whatsoever.”

Sure there is you coke-addled dimwit: you do it because the truth is on your side.

Unless it’s not. Then you chicken out.

photo

Laura Ingraham, on Harrison Butker’s misogynistic speech:

“Harrison Butker decided to use this occasion to say something that mattered. Doing what the left pretends to support, speaking his truth. Now it’s easy to forget, in our social media obsessed, materialistic world, we all fall into it, including myself, … that Heaven is really what we as Christians should be striving for here on earth. It’s certainly easy to understand why his comments made certain people very uncomfortable because they believe it’s enough to glide through life with glib references to ‘equity and inclusion’ and ‘I’m spiritual, but not religious,’ but some of them are among the most intolerant people on the planet. The powers that be here mean to make an example out of people like Harrison Butker and Riley Gaines. Dare to challenge their twisted worldview, where men can be women, and mothers and fathers are fungible, and they will try to denigrate you, isolate you, cancel you and ultimately silence you completely. Be not afraid. At a time, though, when woke secularists dominate media, corporate America, Hollywood, and most universities, being a public witness to your Christian faith? Now that takes courage because speaking out may actually mean that you lose everything.”

Oh Laura, how dumb are you? If you lived in Butker’s world you’d be at home and birthing  babies rather than at work birthing stupidity.

Don’t forget that Eva Braun, er, Laura Ingraham famously told NBA superstar Lebron James in 2018 to “shut up and dribble” after he had the audacity to criticize Hair Furor.

photo

Jamie Raskin, Maryland Democrat Representative, on Justice Alito being compromised and unfit to be a Supreme Court Justice:

“Justice Alito turned the flag upside down. [Hair Furor] turned the Bible upside down. MAGA turned the capitol upside down. The Roberts Court turned the Constitution upside down. Let’s set America right side up in November.”

November … Roevember … Joevember. Vote Blue.

photo

Nikki Haley, pandering GOP hag, has said she will vote for Hair Furor in November:

“I put my priorities on a president who’s going to have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account who would secure the border. [Hair Furor] has not been perfect on these policies. I’ve made that clear many, many times. But Biden has been a catastrophe, so I will be voting for [Hair Furor].”

This is the same Haley who said she’d never run against Hair Furor, and then did.

This is the same Haley who called him the worst idea for president in 2016—and even voted for Marco Rubio—but then ran to Hair Furor’s White House for a job.

This is the same Haly who said, just two months ago:

“I have no need to kiss the ring. I have no fear of retribution. I’m not worried about my political future.”

But she really wants that VP slot so, while she said she won’t kiss his ring, she clearly kissed the ... and I apologize in advance for this ... ring around his anus.

And, perhaps more importantly, she gave the middle finger to all those people around the country who voted for her even after she left the race.

Eddie Vedder, lead vocalist for Pearl Jam, on “kicker” Harrison Butler’s commencement speech:

“He was telling men, ‘Don’t forget to puff up your chest and be more masculine. Don’t lose your masculinity.’ The irony is that when he was saying that he looked like such a pussy. There’s nothing more masculine than a strong man supporting a strong woman. People of quality do not fear equality.”

 Word. It’s just that simple.

Jason Hackett, a Minnesota news anchor, coming out live on air after 13 years as a journalist:

"For people that really know me—my friends, my coworkers, some members of my family—this isn't some huge surprise. I've been living in a glass closet for the most part, but now I wanted to let you out there, the viewers out there that wake up with me every morning to know a little bit more about me. [In] sixth grade is when I realized, 'Wait a minute, I think I’m different.' There was a kid at a bus stop every day after school when I was waiting and I always used to stare at him and be like, 'Wow, there’s something about him that I really like. I don’t know what it is, but I really, really like something about him, 'and I think it dawned on me somewhere around fifth or sixth grade that, 'Wait a minute, I think I’m gay.' It’d be nice to think that after this story is published and after my story is told that there is another young, gay, black, or anybody of color kid out there that is like, 'Wow, he is being his authentic self and he’s not getting killed for it, he’s not getting criticized for it. He’s being his authentic self, and maybe I can also be my authentic self, maybe I can also live my truth, just like Jason is.' What me and ... everyone here on Sunrise strive for is authenticity. And I can't preach that without being my authentic self and for anyone that is watching this now who is struggling to find acceptance or struggling with their family or their friends, take it from me, a gay, Black son of immigrants, the road may not be easy. I won't lie to you and say that it is. But don't worry. Keep going. You're gonna make it."

Welcome Out, Jason, and please accept as our gift from HOMO HQ, a Copy of The Gay Agenda and the Official Coming Out Toaster Oven™.

Your words, and your actions, will definitely make it easier for other young people of color to come out and live their truth and their happiness.

Welcome out!
