Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl has suggested building a giant dome over the country to protect us from a hostile source:

“You know, when I watch our guys operate those things, it’s unbelievable. Missile coming in, missile coming in. These geniuses sit down. Most of them are, you know, they’re from MIT. But they sit down, bing bing bing bing, boom, ph-sheee. It’s gone. It’s amazing.”

That’s all.

And then Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl attacked the late Senator John McCain whose “no” vote derailed GOP efforts to repeal Obamacare:

“John McCain, for some reason, couldn’t get his arm up that day.”

Yes, gutless, draft dodging coward who avoided war because his “feet hurt” attacked a man who had both arms broken in an ejector seat and was then being beaten and bayoneted by a crowd when he landed in Hanoi, then tortured in prison with iron bars.

And lastly, Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl didn’t submit a state loyalty oath that candidates in Illinois have been signing for more than fifty years that asserts they won’t “advocate the overthrow of the government.”

Of note, he signed and submitted the document to Illinois election authorities for both the 2016 and 2020 election cycles.

New York GOP Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has already decided not to certify the results of the 2024 presidential election.

She has already decided that Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl will be cheated out of a win even though she has no proof and no knowledge.

House Speaker and God’s favorite lying racist Christian Nationalist  Mike Johnson walked a fine line between criticizing and defending language by Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl  attacking immigrants for “poisoning the blood” of the nation.

While saying it’s not language he would use he says he believes the “vast majority” of Americans “agree with his position” that it’s “not hateful.”

Immigrants—but not his wife Melanie—poison the blood of America and anyone who is against him is vermin? He quotes Hitler here and ALLEGED Christian Mike Johnson sees nothing wrong there.

Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft is threatening to remove President Biden from the state ballot as retaliation for the two other states that removed Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl  because he “engaged in insurrection”:

“What has happened in Colorado & Maine is disgraceful & undermines our republic. While I expect the Supreme Court to overturn this, if not, Secretaries of State will step in & ensure the new legal standard for [Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl] applies equally to [President Biden.]

While Colorado and Maine have both stated why they wish to remove the former guy from the ballot Ashcroft offers no reason at all, leading me to believe it’s because he’s a pandering MAGAt bitch who wants to kiss the ass of Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl.

Wisconsin GOP Senator Ron Johnson is leading efforts to block a deal on border security because he wants voters to decide on the issue.

The fact is, Johnson and the GOP want to do nothing and then blame Biden for it though they never raised a voice when Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl did nothing about border security.

It’s all party over country for the GOP.

Florida Governor and failed presidential candidate Ron “Lifts” DeSantis offered the clearest indication yet that he would pardon Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl  if he were to be convicted on the multiple criminal charges he faces:

“I think we got to move on as a country and, you know, like Ford did to Nixon, because the divisions are just not in the country’s interest.”

Or in the interests of a moron like DeSantis who is trying to score votes from MAGAts.

And then  from out of left field, DeSantis says the Left doesn’t want people to eat meat:

“A lot of this ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) movement has agriculture in the crosshairs. They don’t want people eating meat. I can tell you when I’m President, I’m not going to let anyone take away your meat, that’s for sure. I mean, I couldn’t subsist if I didn’t have the good meat. So don’t worry about that.”

Yes, you heard it here first, DeSantis likes to eat good meat.

Donald Wildmon, the founder of the American Family Association, a conservative Christian advocacy group, has died from complications related to Lewy body dementia, and to paraphrase Bette Davis:

“You should never say bad things about the dead, only good … Donald Wildmon is dead? Good.”

Wildmon launched campaigns and boycotts to pressure corporations to avoid supporting causes the group opposed, such as LGBTQ+ anti-discrimination measures.

Meanwhile, back at “Lifts” DeSantis … he has come out and said he is opposed to taking down Confederate statues because they erase history.

Odd though, because a few years back Ronnie supported removing Florida's confederate general statue in the US Capitol but now he’s against it. DeSantis is also the one who wants to stop teaching that slavery was a terrible thing because, in his words, there were “personal benefits” of entrapping, imprisoning, enslaving, raping, torturing and killing people of color.

Not to be outdone by DeSantis, Nikki "Some of my best friends are Black" Haley, GOP presidential candidate, has also announced that she’d pardon Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl :

“A leader needs to think about what’s in the best interest of the country. What’s in the best interest of the country is not to have an 80-year-old man sitting in jail, that continues to divide our country.”

At that same event Haley refused to reject the idea of becoming Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl’s running mate in 2024 even though as she announced he campaign she said she’d never take that job.

Lying, hypocritical, moron.

The Republican Party of Texas has rejected a petition to place the question of Texas secession on the 2024 primary ballot and the group behind the effort, The Texas Nationalist Movement, has promised a lawsuit.

I hope they do. This whole country would be better off without the asshattery of Texas and Texas politics.

GOOD NEWS

Ohio’s GOP Governor Mike DeWine struck down House Bill 68 that would have prevented doctors from prescribing hormones, puberty blockers or gender reassignment surgery before patients turn 18. It also would have prohibited transgender girls and women from playing on female sports teams in high school and college:

“Were I to sign House Bill 68, or were House Bill 68 to become law, Ohio would be saying that the state, that the government knows better what is medically best for a child than the two people who love that child the most, their parents.”

Yes, a Republican is standing out of the way and letting parents, and medical professionals, decide what’s best for trans youth.

Federal judge Stephen Locher blocked key parts of an Iowa law that bans some books from school libraries and forbids teachers from raising LGBTQ+ issues.

The law was set to take effect January 1 and has already resulted in the removal of hundreds of books from Iowa schools. The law, which the GOP-led Legislature and GOP Governor Kim Reynolds approved, bans books depicting sex acts from school libraries and classrooms and forbids teachers from raising gender identity and sexual orientation issues with students through the sixth grade.

Locher ruling blocked enforcement of those two provisions.

And that’s just a small taste of GOP lunacy ... pardoning traitors for political points; gibberish speakers; anti-military criminals; ;unatics and Big Liars; Christian Nationalist Nazi sympathizers; party over country fools; unfit for political office; liars and flip-floppers; and Texas.

Rachelle Lefevre, Twilight star, taking on her local Target store for moving a Pride display to the back the store amid backlash from anti-LGBTQ+ asshats and then taking on the bigots who came for her:

“I came in here two days ago, and my seven-year-old, who’s nonbinary, saw [the display] and said: ‘Look, mom, it’s Pride, look! They’re going to celebrate me!’ And because some people complained and threw some stuff to the ground or I don’t know what happened, they have moved their Pride section to the back of the store. [And] don’t anyone come back at me with ‘It was a security issue’ because this is a billion-dollar company—if they really care, they can hire extra security. Instead they chose to send the message that LGBTQ+ people aren’t worth protecting or fighting for … We could do so much better, we’re not supposed to negotiate with terrorists. [And] to those of you who wrote hurtful, disgusting [things]—you know what you wrote, you know who you are—… I punched back in a post… and about 90 seconds later I deleted it because something dawned on me. I know how much pain you have to be in to hate that hard, so instead of hating back, I just choose to know how much pain you’re in. Whatever it is that you are numbing with hating other people, I want to say that when you can find the courage to face that pain, and you get rid of the anger, I hope there are people there who embrace you, I hope there are people there who can love you and hold space for you. And when you are ready to show up as your authentic self, the way God made you, full of love, I will be here to say ‘Hi, it’s nice to meet you.’”

Lefevre didn’t specify the location of the store she visited, but she currently lives in Nashville; Target locations in Southern states, including South Carolina, Arkansas, and Georgia, have all reportedly relocated their Pride displays to the back of the stores and removed Pride apparel from mannequins to reduce their visibility.

They’ve literally put us back in a closet.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, GOP governor of Arkansas, says she’s on a mission to protect children from “the radical left woke mob” and is begging people to move to Arkansas from Blue states:

“I think the best thing that conservatives can do, that are living in blue states, is move to Arkansas. It’s really simple. That’s the best pathway forward, then you don’t have to worry about those things because we’re going to make sure that the kids are protected and that they’re in good learning environments.”

Huckleberry signed bills allowing children to work; she signed bills banning trans people from using the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity; she is for Don’t Say Gay; she is for the ending of teaching about racism and slavery.

Huckleberry is against anything put forward by a Democrat, unless it’s financial aid from the government when God sends tornadoes to Arkansas because their governor is a hate-filled bigot, then she’s first in line with her hand out.

PS Right now Arkansas ranks as the 47th Best State to live in out of 50 states. Does anyone really wanna take a step down?

Today, our Nation faces another inflection point. In 2023 alone, State and local legislatures have already introduced over 600 hateful laws targeting the LGBTQI+ community. Books about LGBTQI+ people are being banned from libraries. Transgender youth in over a dozen States have had their medically necessary health care banned. Homophobic and transphobic vitriol spewed online has spilled over into real life, as armed hate groups intimidate people at Pride marches and drag performances, and threaten doctors’ offices and children’s hospitals that offer care to the LGBTQI+ community. Our hearts are heavy with grief for the loved ones we have lost to anti-LGBTQI+ violence. 

Despite these attacks, the LGBTQI+ community remains resilient. LGBTQI+ Americans are defiantly and unapologetically proud. Youth leaders are organizing walkouts at high schools and colleges across the country to protest discriminatory laws. LGBTQI+ young people and their parents are demonstrating unimaginable courage by testifying in State capitals in defense of their basic rights.

They are not alone: My entire Administration stands proudly with the LGBTQI+ community in the enduring struggle for freedom, justice, and equality. And we are making strides. On my first day in office, I signed a historic Executive Order charging the entire Federal Government with protecting LGBTQI+ people from discrimination—from health care to housing, education, employment, banking, and the criminal justice system. Last December, surrounded by dozens of couples who have fought for marriage equality in the courts for decades, I had the great honor of signing into law the landmark Respect for Marriage Act. This bipartisan law protects the rights of same-sex and interracial couples—like caring for one’s sick partner and receiving spousal benefits. Deciding who to marry is one of life’s most profound decisions, so we etched a simple truth into law:  Love is love.

Meanwhile, I have taken unprecedented steps to support LGBTQI+ youth. During Pride Month last year, I signed an Executive Order charging Federal agencies with combating the dangerous and discredited practice of so-called “conversion therapy.”  I also directed agencies to help end the crisis of homelessness among LGBTQI+ youth and adults and to address discrimination that LGBTQI+ kids face in foster care. The Department of Justice is combating laws that target transgender children, and the Departments of Education and Health and Human Services have proposed new rules to protect LGBTQI+ Americans from discrimination in health care, at school, and in sports. I also established the White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse to develop concrete actions to prevent and respond to online harassment and abuse, which disproportionately target LGBTQI+ people. Additionally, my Administration made it easier for LGBTQI+ youth to access vital mental health support. Now, by calling the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and dialing the number 3, LGBTQI+ youth can speak to counselors who have been specifically trained to support them. 

This country is stronger and more just when America’s leaders reflect the full diversity of our Nation, so I have appointed a historic number of highly qualified openly LGBTQI+ judges and public servants at all levels of the Federal Government. Our Armed Forces are most capable when all patriots can serve their country, so I protected the right of transgender people to once again serve openly in the military. 

But there is more to do, like passing the bipartisan Equality Act, which would strengthen civil rights protections for LGBTQI+ people and families across America. We must also address the disproportionate levels of homelessness, poverty, and unemployment in the LGBTQI+ community and end the crisis of violence against transgender women and girls of color. We must support LGBTQI+ activists around the globe who are standing up for basic human rights and LGBTQI+ survivors of gender-based violence. And we must end the HIV/AIDS epidemic once and for all. Our collective freedoms are inextricably linked:  when one group’s dignity and equality are threatened, we all suffer. This month and every month, let us celebrate the pride that powers the movement for LGBTQI+ rights and commit to doing our part to help realize the promise of America, for all Americans.”

Happy Halloween! And I'm here to offer the biggest frights of them all: the Midterms. We are just a week away from the election, and I will remind you again of what horrors the GOP will do if we allow them to take power …

Rick Scott, Florida Senator, and Medicare fraudster, claims … wait for it … that Democrats “cut Medicare” by allowing the agency to negotiate for lower drug prices, while Scott proposes allowing Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid to sunset every five years, requiring Congress to reauthorize them; or not if the GOP is in power.

That’s right; if the GOP gets in power again Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid will disappear.

Henry McMaster McDisaster, South Carolina Republican Governor, is running for a second term and wants to end same-sex marriage in the state if SCOTUS chooses to overturn its 2015 ruling that found a constitutional right for same-sex couples to marry:

“Well, gay marriage is, is, it is in our Constitution, it is not allowed under state law. It is not allowed. I would follow state law whatever the state law is, but I’m, maybe I’m old fashioned, but I think in marriage ought to be between a man and a woman. Just like I think that boys ought to play in boys’ sports and girls ought to play in girls’ sports.”

McDisaster wants to end equality for LGBTQ+ citizens, and it won’t end with marriage; he, and his GOP masters, will overturn every single equality law in this state.

Doug  Mastriano, a Pennsylvania GOP state senator running for governor, has centered his campaign to an extraordinary degree on Jhis Democratic opponent, Attorney General Josh Shapiro's Jewish faith.

Mastriano, who promotes Christian power and disdains the separation of church and state, has repeatedly attacked Shapiro for attending and sending his children to what Mastriano calls a “privileged, exclusive, elite” school. It is a Jewish day school, where students are given both secular and religious instruction, but Mastriano’s language portrays it as an elitist … read: woke, liberal … school. And now Mastriano’s wife, Eva Braun, er, Rebecca, says:

“I’m just going to say, as a family, we so much love Israel. In fact, I’m going to say we probably love Israel more than a lot of Jews do … And the reason why I say that is because I’ve given and we’ve given for, I would say, at least ten years to outreach to Israel and Jerusalem. We have, I have visited Israel, we saved for five years. We’re just an average family. We’re not wealthy, wealthy people.”

Am I the only one who thinks that sounds anti-Semitic? She loves Israel more than Jews?

Don Bolduc, GOP New Hampshire Senate nominee, has once again trotted out the ludicrous lie that kids are dressing as furries in schools:

"We have furries and fuzzies in classrooms. They lick themselves … When they don’t like something, they hiss … And get this, get this. They’re putting litter boxes, right? … [They] let children lick themselves and then touch everything. And they’re starting to lick each other.”

Every school district in New Hampshire has denounced this lie, and there is not one single photo of a furry, photo of a furry using a litter box in a school bathroom, or even photos on litter boxes at all; this is fearmongering at its most ignorant.

Ron DeSantis, Florida Governor, and Fascist, and his administration have steered millions of dollars in state business to two outside law firms with ties to him, including his old employer, according to records reviewed by The Daily Beast.

Republican election law powerhouse Holtzman Vogel PLLC has received more than $4 million in contracts over the last year, mostly tied to voting rights cases, and yet in years before DeSantis took office there were no contracts listed in the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System for Holtzman Vogel.

Holland & Knight had only $2,750 in contracts with the state of Florida, but in 2018, the firm developed “a new revenue stream” to defend “state agencies and DeSantis in lawsuits, sometimes involving controversial legislation” and have been given nearly $3 million between 2018 and 2020.

Ron Johnson, tinfoil hat wearing QAnon lapdog and Wisconsin Senator, recommends early voting only if you have a Republican county clerk running the elections, casting doubt on Milwaukee County’s Democratic clerk.

Johnson failed to mention his involvement with the plot to deliver a fake list of electors to then-Vice President Mike Pence on January 6, 2021.

Tudor Dixon, Michigan gubernatorial nominee, says Democrats have been plotting to overthrow this country for decades because they lost the Civil War and they want they slaves back.

“Do you think that the Democrats are over losing to the north? Democrat leaders, meanwhile, they sat back in their designer suits, eating their fillet with their nice béarnaise sauce while they watched the country rip itself apart because they were getting it all back, the slaves again. This time they’d be people of all colors—poor and broken—looking to them and begging for help. And they will gladly own you. Next they’ll take your guns, your speech and your God.”

Amazing that this is her platform and no one in the GOP has spoken out against it. But what do you expect from a party that pouts up a Baby Killer in Georgia.

Ronna McDaniel, GOP National Committee Chairwoman, mocked the speaking abilities of Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, the Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate who is recovering from a stroke, and President Biden, who grew up with a stutter.

“I think all the candidates got together and said, ‘Which one of us has to campaign with Biden?’ [Fetterman] drew the short straw. So Biden said, ‘Between the two of us, we may be able to finish a full sentence.’”

That’s the GOP, making fun of people’s speech issues. Imagine her saying that to a child who stutters, or an older American who suffered a stroke.

Paul Gosar,  the right-wing white supremacist and Arizona GOP Representative, who is loathed by his own siblings for his reprehensible actions, is seen on video expressing his approval for two people pretending to be migrant hunters who told him they shoot migrants who cross over to their family farm in Yuma:

“Say a prayer because this country needs you. There’s a bunch of people that are ready to go into action.”

Gosar approves of murdering immigrants.

Wake up, people, and tell all your friends, and your co-workers and neighbors who have yet to vote that the GOP will end choice for women, end contraception for women’ they will end Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security for all of us; end same sex marriage; end LGBTQ+ equality; they will put in office people who believe in furries, who believe Democrats want to go back to slavery, who are anti-Semitic, who believe in murdering migrants; who laugh at disability and health conditions; who get into office and then begin awarding huge sums of money to former employers; who think only the GOP should handle elections.

If you don’t vote, that’s what America will look like and you’ll have no one to blame but yourself. We blew it in 2016 when we thought Hillary might win and so we stayed home cuz we didn’t much care for her and look what happened. But in 2020 we came out strong and send Thing 45 scurrying to Mar-a-Lago and took the House and Senate. We need to keep that momentum going, we need to make sure America doesn’t become a cesspool of fascists and dictators and racists in power,

Elliot Page, trans actor, condemning Texas government officials for declaring that medical care for transgender youths is child abuse:

“I am horrified by the inhumane and downright dangerous declarations by the Texas Governor and Attorney General. Trans youth deserve gender-affirming care and to be able to live their true, authentic selves without fear and oppression. I stand with trans youth and their families.”

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, on GOP loons Lauren Boebert  and Marjorie Taylor Greene—AKA TweedleDumb and TweedleNazi—heckling President Biden during his State of the Union address:

Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Kimmel Live! host, on GOP Senator Marco Rubio skipping the State of the Union address because he didn’t want to take the required Covid-19 test:

“If they swab his nose, it would probably test positive for [Thing 45’s] butt.”

Or they might put the swab so far up his nose they’d find out what we’ve all suspected for years: Rubio’s head is empty.

Seth Meyers, host of Late Night, on hyenas Boebert and Greene’s childish antics during Biden’s State of the Union speech:

“[Their actions] might make you angry but if I’ve learned any one thing from watching Real Housewives, it’s that two white ladies this erratic will eventually turn on one another. All these people want is attention and they’re willing to do anything to get it, including yelling at the president during an address to the nation. And look, I don’t care that much about decorum. I do care about not being annoying, and these two are some of the most annoying people I’ve ever seen on the national stage. I mean, they’re like a non-stop national hangnail.”

They’re pathetic because they have nothing to offer the country other than outbursts and ignorance.

It wasn’t hard, but I have found some more stupid to start the week …

TENNESSEE

The McMinn County School Board has voted to remove the Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel “Maus” from an eighth-grade language arts curriculum due to concerns about profanity and an image of female nudity in its depiction of Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust.

Art Spiegelman, the author of “Maus,” told CNBC:

“I’m kind of baffled by this. It’s leaving me with my jaw open, like, ‘What?’ I’ve met so many young people who ... have learned things from my book. … I also understand that Tennessee is obviously demented.”

Spiegelman suspects the school board members were motivated less  about some mild curse words—there are eight in the entire book—or the nudity—the nude woman in the book is Spiegelman’s mother, and the photo showcases the degrading way women were treated in the camps—and more by the subject of the book, which tells the story of his Jewish parents’ time in Nazi concentration camps, the mass murder of other Jews by Nazis, his mother’s suicide when he was just 20, and his relationship with his father.

What to do? Write letters? Protest? Cast a GODDAMNED vote? Yes, to all of that, but also do as Stephen King suggested on Twitter … find out which library has this book, and indeed all books banned by so-called conservatives, and check the book out and read it; or find a bookstore that sells it, buy it online, and read it.

Knowledge is power and if you read Spiegelman’s book you’ll see that the authorities in Tennessee are trying to erase the Holocaust from history.

And I know of at least 11 million reasons why that should never happen.

Robert LaMay, a State trooper was forced to step down from his job because he refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine, and after being let go, he told the state’s Democrat Governor Jay Inslee to “kiss my ass.”

Y’all know where this is going … this week LaMay died from COVID.

NEW YORK CITY

Last weekend SNL made fun of Candace Owens in a skit, after which Owens ran to Fox to complain about the idea of a Black woman portraying another Black woman as stupid for laughs. Oh Candace, have you never seen SNL?

But then, minutes later on the same show, Owens showed how stupid she is when she went after … wait for it … Minnie Mouse, for wearing a pantsuit:

“It goes back to, like when they did this to the M&M’s and now they’re making [Minnie] more masculine … They’re taking all of these things that nobody was offended by and feel like they have to get rid of them and destroy them because they’re bored. You know, they’re absolutely bored. They’re trying to destroy fabrics of our society, pretending that there’s issues. So everybody looks over here, look at Minnie Mouse. Don’t look at inflation … look at Minnie Mouse. The world is going forward because we’ve got her in a pantsuit. Never mind, that you can’t get anything at the grocery store and you can’t buy a piece of bacon unless you’ve got $30 in your pocket. At least, we’re addressing the real problem, which is Minnie Mouse.”

Yes, there is no food at the grocery stores, and bacon costs $30.

Methinks Candace is too dumb to see that there are other places to shop, and she’s too dumb to note that even she wears pantsuits but a cartoon mouse doing so is taking it too far.

PS She’s been a leader in the conservative push to kill as many fellow conservatives as possible based on the theory that it will drive Joe Biden’s approval ratings down among the surviving Americans who were smart enough not to listen to people like Candace Owens in the first place.

And now she says the Moon landing was faked.

WISCONSIN

GOP Senator Ron Johnson is against government efforts to make childcare cheaper for parents:

“People decide to have families and become parents. That’s something they need to consider when they make that choice. I’ve never really felt it was society’s responsibility to take care of other people’s children.”

Johnson says slashing unemployment benefits to get more people back to work and alleviate the ongoing labor shortage would be a better alternative.

So, not only does Ron Johnson want to cut unemployment benefits, but he wants to make it harder for working people to get childcare so they can work.

ITALY

Pope Francis says parents of LGBTQIA children should not condemn them but offer them support.

But the Catholic Church will do nothing to help those same children, much less LGBTQ+ adults, and the church will never accept same-sex marriage.

How does a parent who is Catholic support an LGBTQIA child and also support a church that denies that child the right to marry when they are grown?

WASHINGTON DC

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch works right alongside of Justice Sonia Sotomayor who has diabetes, a condition that puts her at elevated risk for serious illness, or even death, from COVID-19. She has been the only justice to wear a mask on the bench since last fall when the justices resumed in-person arguments for the first time since the onset of the pandemic.

Sotomayor did not feel safe in close proximity to people who were unmasked so Chief Justice John Roberts, understanding that, asked the other justices to mask up except Gorsuch, who refused. His continued refusal means Sotomayor has not attended the justices’ weekly conference in person, joining instead by telephone.
