For same sex-marriage and a full reversal of the Defense of Marriage Act.
Everyone scrambled. Huh? He what? Did he? Why? Oh yippee.
And the Schumer's people--everyone has people....I have people...confirmed that Chuck Schumer had, indeed, changed his mind about gay marriage, and issuing the following statement:

"It’s time. Equality is something that has always been a hallmark of America and no group should be deprived of it. New York, which has always been at the forefront on issues of equality, is appropriately poised to take a lead on this issue."
Good for Chuck, and good for him for calling it an equality issue as opposed to a marriage issue. The use of the term marriage gives all the haters something to latch onto, something to sanctify, but if you keep it about equality all the haters simply look like haters.
I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, it isn't a religious issue, it's a civil rights issue.
