AIG Gives US Taxpayers The One-Fingered Salute

It just keeps getting worse.
We, yes, we the taxpayers, bailed out AIG to the tune of some $170 billion dollars, just as they reported the largest corporate quarterly loss ever! Apparently in the last three months of 2008 AIG lost $60 billion big ones.
And now comes word that AIG has used our money to pay out corporate bonuses to the tune of $165 million.

They lost money, and begged us to give them some, then handed out bonuses like candy on Halloween.

The bigwigs at AIG say they can't do anything about the bonuses, because they were already allotted in contracts with employees.

How about this AIG? Next time you come crawling for a hand out, we'll slam the effin' door in your face and then no one gets a hand out, or bonus, or grand theft, or whatever it is you call it.

  1. my republican friends are so upset with Obama giving these bailouts, but it was the Republicans who first gave out those monies without asking for any accountability. consequently, all the money given out before the Obama administration has disappeared and the treasury dept doesn't know how it was spent.
