This Just In From The Group That Protects Child Molesters

It might seem that I am on a tear about the Catholic Church [I've been posting a lot in the last couple of days] but I like to think of the Catholic Church as a religious Lindsay Lohan. They lay low for awhile, saying nothing, then all of the sudden, like Lohan, they get arrested for stealing, or come stumbling out of a club all drunk and stuff, or saying stuff like this, taken directly from the Catholic League:

BOSTON VICTIMS’ SUMMIT BOMBS

Over the weekend, lawyers, columnists, reporters, psychiatrists, and activists attended the “10th Anniversary Celebration & Conference” in Boston; it marked the 10th anniversary of media reports on the Boston clergy sexual abuse scandal.

Commenting on the outcome is Catholic League president Bill Donohue:

"A whopping 75 people turned out for the conference, 25 of whom were the speakers. How embarrassing. It’s clear that the professional victims’ lobby is spent. Everyone else has moved on, but those who have an ideological, emotional or financial interest in continuing this saga cannot let go. What a pitiful bunch of malcontents."

This a good sign. Catholics are talking about the announcement that Archbishop Timothy Dolan and Archbishop Edwin O’Brien will become Cardinal Dolan and Cardinal O’Brien next month—they’re not interested in wallowing in negativity.

Children who placed their trust in priests and members of the Catholic Church, who were then fondled, abused and raped by those priests, et al, are a "pitiful bunch of malcontents."

Bill Donohue, the Grand Asshat SpokesHellhound for the Pope and the Catholic Church, says that everyone has moved on, while don't the victims of child molestation do so. 

Notice, he and the Church take absolutely no responsibility for hiring rapists and saving rapists from prosecution, and moving rapists to new feeding grounds for their pedophilia. Instead, they blame the victims, and even used a picture of a crybaby in their we-don't-care-about-victims-of-abuse fluff piece.

That's the Catholic Church. They don't give a flying fuck about the poor, or victims of child abuse. They only care about self-preservation and "moving on."
