Sally Kern, aka The Most Idiotic Person On Earth Earth Earth, has taken time away from her Gays Are Terrorist Speeches, and getting caught carrying guns into the Oklahoma state house, to announce her intention to wage a battle on divorce.
She, Grand Duchess of Asshattery, plans to introduce an act that would make some divorces illegal. Her legislation, House Bill 2279, would restrict the "use of incompatibility as a ground for divorce" in Oklahoma, and it would not allow divorce on the basis of incompatibility if:
- There are living minor children of the marriage
- The parties have been married 10 years or longer
- Either party files a written objection to the granting of a divorce
What makes this so laughable, aside from the fact that Sally Kern is clinically ignorant, is that she is card-carrying member of the republican party and fights for less government interference in people's freedoms...if your freedoms include carrying guns or branding a minority group as terrorists. But if your freedoms interfere with Sally Kern's objective to return this country to the Land of The 1950s, then she'll be all up in your business.

ReplyDeleteIt's high time that the "One Man and One Woman" group start having their rights being defined by the (We're the Ones Whom are Right) righties. Then maybe they'll get the meaning of personal rights. It's amazing to me how all the righties are out in front shouting for smaller goverment - yet their the first ones wanting goverment to dictate how an individual should act or respond.
