Mark Sanford is talking again. Oh, not about South Carolina and the problems that plague our state, from teen pregnancy to unemployment to education to....on and on. No, Mark is still talking about his life, his choices, his mistakes.
Now he says he told a, get this, "little white lie" to his staff to conceal his secret June getaway to Argentina so he could get some South American tail, and then announced that God is on his side, and he has no intentions of resigning.
So, you cheat on your wife and God is on your side. You steal money from the people of your state so you can cheat on your wife and God is on your side. You steal from the state so you can travel first class while touting your fiscal conservatism and God is on your side.
Let me get this queer: God is on the side of liars and adulterers but he finds homosexuals an abomination?
Really? That's all you got Marky?
Well, We The People Of South Carolina have a group of lawmakers who, come January, seem poised to impeach your lying, cheating, adulterous ass, and no matter how much you downplay your mistakes, We The People are not going to forget.
Sanford continues to whine that not one single House Republican, who met last week to discuss his failings, has offered to support his bid to save his job. But Marky has vowed to fight on, without their help, once again putting what he wants ahead of what is best for the people of South Carolina.
Way to govern, Mark.
Of course, he took a page out of certifiable lunatic Michele Bachmann's playbook when he said that he would continue to fight for conservative causes and for "what God wanted me to do with my life."
Mark, if you believe in God, I think God wants you to stop lying; he wanted you to be faithful to his wife; he asked that you not steal money from the state so you can wing your way to Buenos Aires for a booty call.
I think that's what God wants.
And we just learned yesterday that Sanford charged the state some $131.00 for travel expenses from his plantation in Beaufort to Columbia for a press conference. South Carolina law prohibits elected officials from charging travel expenses from home to work, but Mark, in one of his many "little white lies" says this charge is legitimate because, and this is good, the Beaufort plantation is not his primary residence and. therefore, his travel expenses can be paid for by the state.
Yes, Mark. God loves you. But even God thinks you're a liar, a hypocrite, an adulterer and a thief.
I know I agree with you. He does not need to stay in office, If GOD is so good to Him he could get another job lets say in Washington were his lying a conniving skills will be more useful to the rest of the repugs.
ReplyDeleteBetter yet he can claim up a cross, in his undies, nail himself down, and resurrect the third day, then I will believe him.
ReplyDeleteI suppose he'd better enjoy it while he can, because his ass is getting impeached in January.
