Catholic Church: Take Note

Good things take time; sometimes we don't like it, but, well, if we're patient, the news will be good.

See, after some twenty-five years of deliberation, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America [ELCA] Church Council has decided to abolish all its anti-gay policies, effective immediately.

The ELCA will now allow people in same-sex relationships to serve as rostered leaders; LGBTQ people will no longer be considered abominations but blessed church members with full standing. And, same-sex partners and their families can now fully participate in the ELCA Pension Plan.

Just as God wants it.

But, the nicest move of all, is that the ELCA will be reinstating people who were removed from ministry positions because they were truthful and came out of the closet, as well as reinstating those who conducted holy unions for same-sex couples.

I told you the news was good.

Now, if only those other churches....................
