Ah, here in the modern age, we finally have our first Twitter assassination threat against President Obama. My, isn't technology wonderful, and aren't people still stupid?
The Secret Service is investigating a Twitter user who was apparently angered by the passage of Health Care Reform, and used the internet to call for the assassination of President Obama. In 140 characters or less.
One conservative blogger, whose Twit-Name is Solly Forell, and who calls himself an "authentic" African American, is being investigated after posting this on Twitter hours before the House passed the controversial bill:
"ASSASSINATION! America, we survived the Assassinations and Lincoln & Kennedy. We'll surely get over a bullet to Barrack Obama's head."
And shortly after his first lovely post advocating murder, Forell tweeted another message actively encouraging someone with a "clear shot" to kill the president.
Seriously not smart.
I had my issues with W. I thought he was a liar, a tyrant, a moron, a drug addict, and an out-and-out presidential disgrace to this country. And I told people about my feelings. When W was on TV I shouted Liar! Loser! War for oil! No WMD! Asshat! Wingnut! Nation builder! But I never, never, said he should be killed.
So, Solly, I hope the Secret Service investigates you so deep they'll be able to graffiti the inside of your colon. And I hope you'll realize that in America you have the right to say anything you want about the president. He's a Socialist, a Communist, a Stalinist, a Satanist....every bad -ist you can think of; he's not from this country; he's :::::gasp:::: black.
But what you can't do, Solly, you ignorant fool, is post on the internet that he should be killed.
Unreal. People can be so stupid.
ReplyDeleteLoved your comments on this. Well done.
I bet silly Solly regrets his words now. Can't wait until the media digs up a picture of him and blasts it around the globe for all to see.
ReplyDeleteBetter living through idiocy and hatred. Now that's a roadmap for the future.
ReplyDeleteHope he receives the full extent of the law on his assassination threats.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you wrote about this because I wondered about him after seeing the retweet on Twitter. Thanks!
