Rudy Rudy Rudy

Rudy Giuliani is the latest Repugnant fool to stand up and declare that gay marriage is the worst thing to happen in this country, and how he will use his opposition to sail in to the New York Governor's mansion next year.

Uh, Rudy, isn't that kinda how you talked about running for president a while back, and your dismal showing in nearly every primary you entered told you that no one wanted you as president? Well, they don't want you and your narrow-minded hatred in the Governor's office, either.

See, Rudy hates gay marriage. Hates. It. It's wrong. It will destroy society. It will make his three heterosexual marriages somehow less than, as if he hadn't done that himself by being married three times. So much for sanctity of marriage, eh, Rudy?

Now, don't get me wrong. Rudy likes the gays. He even has some gays. He stayed with his gay friends when his second, or was it his third, marriage was busting up. But he doesn't think his gay friends have the same rights as he does because, well, they're gay.

His religious beliefs tell him that. And I don't have a problem with his religious belief saying that marriage is between one man and one woman--or in his case one man and three women....so much for that whole sanctity of marriage crap, eh, Rudy?

No, he's allowed his religious beliefs because of a little something I like to call separation of church and state. But that same idea of separation also allows that he not use his religious beliefs to dictate law. Separation, Rudy. Church. State. You're a politician, isn't that rule one?

So, don't force your archaic beliefs on New York, Rudy. They don't want them. They don't want you. Crawl back under the rock from whence you came.
