Poor Mitt.....I Think We Need A Telethon

Failing that, does anyone have a teeny-weeny-itty-bitty-tiny violin to play for the poor man? Why? You ask. Well, it seems that Mitt Romney is unemployed, like so many other Americans and we should feel sorry for him.

Romney, aptly labeled "out of touch" by the Democratic National Committee, for the remarks he made in Florida this week, is now back-pedaling and shifting focus, and playing with smoke and mirrors so we don't look at the man behind the curtain.

See, Mitt was down in Florida, talking to, and ALLEGEDLY listening to, small business owners in that state, when the crowd began telling their tales of how hard it is to find work in this economy. So, um, what did Mitt do? Did he offer up a comprehensive plan on how to get America, and Americans, back to work? Did he propose a new, brilliant strategy for fixing the deficit?

No, Mitt Romney, multi-millionaire presidential candidate, said that maybe he should speak: “I should tell my story, I’m also unemployed.”

The DNC emailed bombed his campaign headquarters, and the Romeny Camp went into spin overdrive, saying the crowd laughed at Shecky, er, Mitt, and that he was just being self-deprecating.

Which is easy to do when you're worth millions.
