Architecture Wednesday

At first I thought this was a stadium. Then I thought it looked like an art museum? Then, I figured, it was a chic new hotel.

But it's all of those things, kind of, and none of those things: it's a 15,000 square foot single family home in Texas, and it can be yours for the low low price of 9.75 million.
The ginormous master bedroom with vistas and fireplace and sitting area, with a bathroom, dressing area, and closet, fit for a queen.
Or, say, two queens.

Now, there are seven bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms. Plus there are another four half-baths throughout the home, so there is never a line for the loo.
The house includes an apartment with a kitchen and living room.

Back in the main house, there is a full high-end kitchen, along with a smaller catering kitchen so there is never a line for the buffet.
There are five living areas, a formal living room, dining room, children's playroom, media room and a game room with a bar. There is also a hobby area, a gym and a study.
And outside, you have nearly two acres on which to build your own stadium, or museum, or hotel.

  3. A little too modern for me, but the Mistress could put her spin on things and it would have a certain homey charm!
