Utah and Hate.....Together Again
According to the Desert News, a man who committed a hate crime has been extradited back to Utah from Hawaii, where he now sits in a Salt Lake City jail. Perhaps those gay-friendly Mormon folks can use some of their leftover Yes on H8 money to bail him out. After, all he only punched a fag, how bad is that?
Fa Junior Moi Moi, 20, met 18-year-old Carlos Lopez on August 9, 2008, on Churchill Drive, a popular meeting spot for teenagers that overlooks the valley. Lopez and his friends, Moi Moi and his friends, just happened to be there at the same time. They all started talking together, and even posed for pictures with one another
.
But then Moi Moi asked Lopez if he was gay. Lopez answered yes, and Moi Moi had a hissy fit; you know, oooooh, I stood next to a gay guy! It's a cooties thing, apparently.
He punched Lopez in the face, breaking his orbital bone, and then let his buddies join in the fun. Gang Bang A Gay! Woo Hoo! It's a Salt Lake City tradition. We fund hate; we punch gays!
Moi Moi then ran home to Hawaii, where he has family; you know, because he knew he had done nothing wrong. He just wanted some poi, or to slip into his hula gear. He didn't run because he pummeled another human being for being gay. It was luau season!
Salt Lake City police placed Moi Moi on their most wanted list, and about a month ago, Honolulu police helped Salt Lake police track Moi Moi down and arrested him. Detectives traveled to Hawaii to pick him up and return him to face charges in 3rd District Court of two counts of felony aggravated assault and one count of misdemeanor assault.
So you see, Moi Moi, it's like this, and it's simple:
You don't have to like gay people. S'okay. They probably don't like you.
But you don't get to beat them up simply because they're gay.
I see it like this. You're going to prison, honey, for a hate crime, and with a name like Moi Moi you're on the fast track to being Bubba's new bitch.
Enjoy!
