So, do Mormons go to Hell for lying?

Just asking. Cuz, see, the Mormon Church just announced that they under-reported their contribution to the Yes on H8 campaign by nearly $190,000.00.

Happens to me all the time; forgetting where i spent my 200k.

Now, some of the money went for travel expenses from the Land Of Mormon to California, and some $20,000.00 went for the use of facilities and equipment at Mormon HQ in Salt Lake; there was also nearly $100,000.00 for "compensated staff time" for church employees who worked on matters pertaining to Prop. 8.

So, those pesky Mormons did spend money to fund Prop 8, and didn't report it.

Liar Lair Mormon Church. Liar Liar.

Of course, church officials are not commenting; it takes a few days to come up with the perfect lie to coverup why you lied the first time.

Fred Karger, of Californians Against Hate, filed a complaint with California's Fair Political Practices Commission "on Nov. 13, alleging that the Mormon church had produced commercials, set up Web sites, conducted simulcasts and sent church leaders to California to support Prop. 8 without filing any of the required reports."

And yet the Mormon church denies, as of Friday, any direct financial support for Yes on H8, except about two-grand to fly Elder L. Whitney Clayton to California. Now, of course, the Mormons are crying because they think Karger's complaint is not nice.

Boo followed quickly by Hoo. BooHoo.

Church officials do say, and this is that same old chestnut of We didn't fund any political agenda, that, while individual Mormons gave millions to "Yes on H8," not the church itself, so they don';t have to report to California.

Wrong Mormons. On so many levels wrong.

See, paying for hate is not like paying for shoes, and then taking them home and they don't go with anything in your closet so you take them back.

Once you pay for hate, you're stuck with it.
