Two Americas. I hate that we are still not there yet after all of these years but I don't know if it is possible because people hate and are scared of things they don't understand.

Well, the orange ogre is responsible for the late response on Jan. 6th. The national guard was put in place here because they were not put in place immediately following George Floyd's death and that cost Minneapolis big time. Brooklyn Center got them because of the uncalled for looting of businesses that have nothing to do with race, racism, or the death of a young black male at the hands of police. Also - keep in mind that all evidence points to this being a very stupid accident. Yes, the police handled things poorly - big surprise there. But the officer in question made a huge, honest mistake - one that she will be held accountable for. So, while your thought is provoking... I am not sure it is a fair analogy.

No lesson learned.

Its sometimes a shame the whole capital didn't go up in flames.... maybe whites need a major ordeal and disaster to learn a lesson.

There's always two 'optics'.
Black people are always 'dangerous'.
