I Didn't Say It ...

Bad Bunny, first artist to win Album of the Year for a record sung entirely in Spanish, from the Grammy stage as he accepted his award:

“We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different.”

Wise words; and to be different we need to understand and accept how alike we are despite our differences.

Yes, let’s go after those immigrants committing crimes in this country, but those people aren’t the housewives and the student and the immigrants doing the right thing. They aren’t five-year-old boys or mothers or nurses.

The system is broken and we are allowing it to break.

Stand up!

photo

Christian Menefee, Democrat from Texas was sworn in as the newest Representative in the House, and said this:

“It’s been more than 330 days since the people of the 18th Congressional District had representation, had a voice in Congress. When this body took on important votes about whether to cut SNAP [Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program] benefits, about whether to make it more difficult to access Medicaid, important issues, this district had no voice in Congress, so this one is for the 18th [district].”

Taking a stand. Making a stand. And looking fine while he does it!

photo

Josh Gad, actor, on Cankles using his Slovenian Hooker wife’s “film” as a deflection for the fact that he’s a child rapist:

“The fact that we are waking up with all of the evidence everybody’s been screaming to see for the past 10 years finally out there, accusing [Cankles] in detail of some of the most horrific and evil things any of us have ever had to read, while he’s out there promoting his wife’s 40 million dollar Instagram reel is nothing short of insane. The media not covering this 24/7, however, is nothing short of pathetic and damning is beyond words.”

The rules don’t apply to the rich … well, the rich and white … well, the rich and white and male.

Time for a new way of life and we can start by punishing all the pedophiles no mater how many coins they have.

photo

Don Lemon, journalist, after his arrest by the Cankles regime:

“I have spent my entire career covering the news. I will not stop now. There is no more important time than right now, this very moment, for a free and independent media that shines a light on the truth and holds those in power accountable. Last night, the DOJ [Department of Justice] sent a team of federal agents to arrest me in the middle of the night for something that I’ve been doing for the last 30 years, and that is covering the news. The First Amendment of the Constitution protects that work, for me and for countless other journalists who do what I do. I stand with all of them, and I will not be silenced.”

No one should be silenced.

If you like Don Lemon or not the idea that a journalist can be arrested because a diaper soiling, nap taking, racist, rapist, fascist sociopath got his Pampers™ twisted is un-American and unless you want all media silenced vote the regime and all its Congressional lapdogs out of office.

photo

Bernie Sanders, on Jeff Bezos’ decision to lay off 30% of the Washington Post staff:

"If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff. Democracy dies in oligarchy."

He wants the cash, and more cash, and all the cash. That’s Bezos; he has a wife to keep in plastic surgery, Botox, filler, and “chicken cutlets.”

photo

Shaboozey, a Nigerian-American singer and rapper, onstage after winning his first Grammy:

“Immigrants built this country, literally. So this is for them, for all children of immigrants. This is also for those who came to this country in search of a better opportunity to be part of a nation that promised freedom for all and equal opportunity to everyone willing to work for it. Thank you for bringing your culture, your music, your stories and your traditions here. You give America color.”

His statement reminds me of a video I saw with members of the ICEstapo trying to order lunch at a Mexican restaurant. The manager comes to the table and tells them to get out and then adds:

“You come here for our food and our music and our culture and then you go outside and throw us to the ground and detain us and send up to a camp. Get the fuck out.”

We all came here from somewhere else; and we brought our lives and hopes and dreams and pasts with us. Why is it suddenly wrong and bad and criminal to be an immigrant, unless you’re a white immigrant. Is it that simple?

Yes, for those on the right, it’s a matter of color.

I Didn't Say It ...

Ken Martin, DNC chair, on the administration morons texting out war plans to a journalist:

“Pete Hegseth was unfit to lead the Defense Department even before he risked our national security though his own sloppy handling of sensitive military information. Just like his boss … Hegseth—and everyone else involved—put on a stunning display of recklessness and disregard for our national security. Hegseth should resign, and if he doesn’t, he should be fired. It’s crystal clear that our men and women in uniform deserve better—and that our national security cannot be left in Hegseth’s incompetent and unqualified hands.”

Can you imagine what would have happened had this monumental fuck-up occurred during Biden or Obama’s term? The GOP would have railed about impeachment, Fox News would have had conniption fits, and Republicans would have cried and stomped their feet.

But it happened under their Dear Leader so from the right and the rightwingnut media, it’s crickets.

Resist.

photo

Conan O'Brien, receiving the "Mark Twain Prize for American Humor" at the Kennedy Center and using the opportunity to humiliate The Felon:

"Thanks to my people who invited me here a few months ago: Deborah Rutter and David Rubenstein [former board member and chair that The Felon removed] … And a special thanks to all the beautiful people who have worked here at the Kennedy Center for years and who are worried about what the future might bring. Twain was a patriot in the best sense of the world. He loved America, but knew it was deeply flawed. Twain wrote, ’patriotism is supporting your country all of the time and your government when it deserves it.’ Now, some of you, some of you might be thinking, ‘what does this have to do with comedy?’ Twain is funny and important today because his comedy is a hilarious celebration of our fears, our ineptitude, and the glorious mess of being human. Only [The Felon] knows his priorities best. There’s a lot going on in the world but probably taking control of the Kennedy Center should be at the top of the list.”

The Felon rants about performances and Broadway shows and portraits of him, but nary a word about eggs and gas prices and housing, or any of the promises he made to the cult to get elected.

Resist the ignorance of the tiny orange man.

Raphaël Glucksmann, French Parliamentarian, responding to the White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt’s attack after he suggested France should reclaim the Statue of Liberty:

“Dear Americans, since the White House press secretary is attacking me today, I wanted to tell you this. Our two peoples are intimately linked by history, by the blood we shed, and by our shared passion for freedom—symbolized by the Statue of Liberty, which France gifted to honor your glorious Revolution. As the press secretary for this shameful administration said: without your nation, France would have ‘spoken German.’ In my case, it goes further: I would simply not be here if Americans hadn’t landed on our beaches in Normandy. Our gratitude to these heroes and their sacrifices is eternal. But the America of these heroes fought against tyrants, it did not flatter them. It was the enemy of fascism, not the friend of Putin. It helped the resistance, not attacked Zelensky. It celebrated science, not fired researchers for using banned words. It welcomed the persecuted, not targeted them. It was far—so far—from what your current president does, says, and embodies. This America—faithful to the words inscribed on the Statue of Liberty, your America—is worth so much more than betrayal. More than the abandonment of Ukraine and Europe. More than xenophobia and obscurantism. We in Europe love this nation to which we owe so much. And we know it will rise again. You will rise again. We are counting on you. And that is why I said in a rally: if your government despises everything the Statue of Liberty symbolizes, we could symbolically reclaim it. It was a wake-up call. No one, of course, will come and steal the Statue of Liberty. The statue is yours. But what it embodies belongs to all of us. And if your government no longer cares for the free world, we will take up the torch here in Europe. Until we meet again in the fight for freedom and dignity, we will be the continuators of our shared history and the protectors of our greatest treasure: not copper and steel, but the freedom it represents.”

Karoline Leavitt’s husband bought her the job as Press Secretary and she has proven herself to be woefully inept and way out of her league when it comes to policy and politics.

She’s a little girl playing dress up and doing it badly.

photo

Bernie Sanders, Vermont Democrat Senator, on holding rallies with AOC and sparking the resistance:

“Today AOC and I had 34,000 people come out to us in Denver. It is the largest rally that I have ever had. And it tells me that the American people will not allow [The Felon] to move the United States into oligarchy and authoritarianism. We will fight back. We will win.”

The latest gaffe by this White House will shift many people away from The Felon and his minions, though the hardcore cultists and Fox News will play the No Big Deal Card.

photo

Jessica Tarlov, Fox News host, stuns The Cult by incinerating The Felon for sending innocent people to a "gulag" in El Salvador:

"[The Felon] saying on Truth Social that maybe you'll go to El Salvador—at this moment when the ACLU attorneys are reporting that people have been falsely sent to El Salvador, which is what we said was going to happen, they're being sent back. Because guess what? They're not Venezuelan and also they sent some women and El Salvador doesn't want to take women. Are you going to finally admit that the way they are vetting these people is inaccurate?—

Tarlov was interrupted by The Felon lapdog Jesse Watters who said:

“Oh vetting is good now!"

"That's so funny. You guys are so hilarious. What about the Venezuelan soccer player who was tortured by the Maduro regime and was sent to El Salvador? He had a legitimate asylum claim, went through a legal port of entry––"

Now it was Judge Jeanine “Boxed Wine” Pirro, who said:

"What about the Americans who have been murdered by illegals. Let's not do all this. The question has to do with Democrats—"

"Why not? Because it doesn't suit you right now. You're so ridiculous."

Pirro shrieked:

"It's not ridiculous! The question was a simple one and you can't answer it."

"I did answer it. I answered it explicitly because I'm a grownup. And I can say 'Oh Jeanine asked me question, here's my answer.' Also, Jeanine then could you answer my question: Do you think it's okay that innocent people are being sent to a foreign gulag?"

Pirro:

"I think that what's important is that we get rid of ... I think that's what important is that we get rid of the criminals in this country that your favorite president allowed to come into this country—"

"But these aren't criminals!"

Pirro and Watters shut their yaps because, though they’d never admit it, Tarlov schooled them and put their ignorance and cult behavior on full display.

Plus, Jeanine was drunk and Jesse had wet his pants.

photo

Tammy Duckworth, Illinois Democrat Senator, demanding DUI hire Pete Hegseth’s resignation after he repeatedly lied about sharing classified information in an unsecured group text message:

“Pete Hegseth is a fucking liar. This is so clearly classified info he recklessly leaked that could’ve gotten our pilots killed. He needs to resign in disgrace immediately. Hegseth and every other official who was included in this group chat must be subject to an independent investigation. If Republicans won’t join us in holding the Trump Administration accountable, then they are complicit in this dangerous and likely criminal breach of our national security.”

Duckworth—a combat veteran, former Black Hawk helicopter pilot and member of the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees—said Hegseth put the lives of American service members in danger by discussing the timing and sequencing of U.S. attacks targeting the Houthis in Yemen in early March.

Hegseth, The Felon , and the GOP say he did nothing wrong by texting on an open channel, and to an investigative reporter for The Atlantic.

Fucking liar indeed.

photo

Jack Schlossberg, JFK’s grandson, speaking about The Felon declassifying his grandfather's assassination report:

"[The Felon] is obsessed with my grandfather—but not in his life or what he achieved in it. No, just like [my uncle, Robert Kennedy Jr], [The Felon] is only interested in JFK’s carcass. JFK drafted the civil rights act—[The Felon] made DEI illegal. JFK stared down Russia and did not blink—[The Felon]  is Russia’s closest ally. JFK sent a man to the moon—[The Felon]  gave Elon the keys to Air Force One. JFK created USAID—[The Felon]  eliminated it. JFK fought fascism and Communism. [The Felon]  is selling us out to tech warlords, at home and abroad. JFK stood behind unions and labor, demanding healthcare, higher pay. [The Felon]  is stripping working families from lifesaving care , financial support. These men [The Felon, RFK. And Elon Musk] are stealing history from present and future generations—by appropriating the past for their criminal agenda, they normalize themselves in the minds of those without living memory."

The Felon hopes to be remembered as JFK but rightly so he will instead be remembered as RFK Jr type of fool.

I Didn't Say It ...

Mrs. Betty Bowers, "America's Best Christian",  on Mexico sending firefighters to California:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re sending they’re best. Their sending firefighters to help solve America’s problems. They’re bringing firefighting uniforms. They’re bringing firefighting equipment. They’re bringing kittens down from the trees. And all, I assume, are good people.”

Nice riff on The Felon’s 2016 racist rant.

The firefighters from Mexico, and elsewhere, are doing more to help LA and the thousands of displaced citizens than the so-called President-elect.

photo

Michelle Visage, singer, producer, actress and RuPaul’s Drag Race judge, on calling transgenderism a mental illness:

“Don’t call transgender mentally ill if you believe a man in the clouds loves you unconditionally, but [only] under certain conditions.”

Snap.

photo

Bernie Sanders, Vermont Democrat Senator, writing for Fox News, on America:

“It’s hard to miss. Our country is rapidly evolving into two Americas. One America consists of less than a thousand billionaires who have an unprecedented amount of wealth and power and have never ever had it so good. The other America, where the vast majority live, consists of tens of millions of families who are struggling to put food on the table, pay their bills and worry that their kids will have a lower standard of living than they do. We are in a pivotal and unprecedented moment in American history. Either we fight to create a government and an economy that works for all, or we continue to move rapidly down the path of oligarchy and the rule of the super-rich.”

Eat.The.Rich.

photo

Lawrence O’Donnell, liberal political commentator, and host of The Last Word, on what liberals have done for America:

“What did Liberals do that was so offensive to the Republican Party? I’ll tell you what they did. Liberals got women the right to vote. Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act. What did Conservatives do?  They opposed Liberals on every one of those things, every one. So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won’t work because I will pick that label up and wear it as a badge of honor.”

Yeah, call me a liberal and think you’re hurting me.

I’d rather be a liberal any day of the week than support a group of billionaire brats, rapists and racists and criminals.

photo

Colman Domingo, on his career, being gay in Hollywood, and playing mostly straight roles:

“I never limited myself to what I believed I could play, and I think that’s why the world has not limited me … I’m an actor, period, and I play everything. I just kept working, bringing my whole self into every role. The world shouldn’t have all of me. You have some of me, but not all of me. The offers that come in now are mostly straight roles. No one’s looking at me like, ‘He’s gay, he can’t do that.’ Because I said I can do anything. I try to live with grace and remember where I come from. I didn’t dream of fame—I dreamed of  doing meaningful work.”

I do not fall into that crowd of only gay actors can play gay, because then that would also mean that only straight actors can play straight, and that’s not true.

photo

Tom Nichols, writer for The Atlantic, on The Felon:

"Paradoxically, however, [The Felon]’s reckless venality is a reason for hope. { The Felon] has the soul of a fascist but the mind of a disordered child. He will likely be surrounded by terrible but incompetent people. All of them can be beaten: in court, in Congress, in statehouses around the nation, and in the public arena. America is a federal republic, and the states—at least those in the union that will still care about democracy—have ways to protect their citizens from a rogue president. Nothing is inevitable, and democracy will not fall overnight.”

There will be methods to contain The Felon, even though the GOP will goosestep for Hair Furor every chance they get.

photo

Gavin Newsom, California Democrat Governor, on The Felon withholding federal disaster aid to the fire-embattled state and his constant lies:

“He’s done it in Utah. He’s done it in Michigan, did it in Puerto Rico. He did it to California back before I was even governor, in 2018, until he found out folks in Orange County voted for him and he decided to give them money. So he’s been at this for years and years and years. It transcends the states, including, by the way, Georgia, he threatened similarly … that’s his style. And we take it seriously to the extent that in the past it’s taken a little bit more time [to get federal aid]. I’ve been pretty expressive about that in the context of someone threatening our first responders in terms of supporting the immediacy of their needs. I don’t know what he’s referring to when he talks about the Delta smelt in reservoirs. The reservoirs are completely full, the state reservoirs here in Southern California. Tragedies like this are why [he] never should have been elected. At a time when all Americans should be coming together to help California, he’s exploiting the tragedy for cheap political points.”

The Felon won’t help California because he says California didn’t vote for him so he’s clearly telling us AGAIN that he does not represent all of the people, just those who buy his cheap ass shoes and faux Bibles and the other bull shit he sells to pay his bills.

I Didn't Say It ...

Bernie Sanders, on the GOP fondness for bailing out the wealthy while utterly ignoring their base:

“I find it interesting that for my Republican colleagues, when it comes to tax breaks for the rich and [for] corporations—that’s okay. But when you demand that we invest in the working families of this country, well, suddenly the sky is falling. I’m tired of that hypocrisy.”

If only there was some way to get MAGAts to listen to reason … Oh, who am I kidding? MAGAts are buying bibles from a rapist racist and shoes from China because a con artist told them to do it.

photo

Mitt Romney, GOP Senator from Utah, on Hair Furor’s criminal trial and the jury:

“I think everybody has made their own assessment of [Hair Furor]’s character and so far as I know, you don’t pay someone $130,000 not to have sex with you.”

Snap, Mittsy!

photo

Jon Ossoff, Georgia Democrat Senator, on the GOP bending over for Hair Furor to kill a bipartisan border bill:

“No one, and I mean no one, is interested in lectures on border security from Republicans. In one of the most stunning acts of political cowardice, a bipartisan border security bill was denied even a debate on the floor, because [Hair Furor] told Republicans to kill it.”

The GOP never even mentions the border until an election cycle and then it becomes the greatest threat to America … Remember the caravans?

They won’t ever fix the border because their base is so ignorant they don’t see that the GOP is the Do-Nothing Party.

photo

Jared Moskowitz, Democrat Representative from Florida, speaking on Fox News Sunday about Moscow Marge:

“What Marjorie Taylor Greene and what Thomas Massie and what Paul Gosar are trying to accomplish by removing the Speaker of the House in this very moment, after October 7, would only embolden China, it would only embolden Russia, it would only embolden Iran. She’s not a serious legislator, quite frankly. That’s why I think the way we’ve been treating her now is she is Putin’s special envoy to Congress. The idea that she would criticize anybody else that somehow we’re not respecting America. The way you disrespect America, is not by standing by our allies, not by strengthening us.”

Marge is a Putin puppet; I imagine she is already trying to build a gym in Russia and trying to get him to join, so she can fuck him, too, since that’s her MO.

photo

William Barr, attempting to justify this week’s announcement that he’ll be voting for the man who recently attacked him:

“I think this is a terrible choice for the country, but it is a choice. At the end of the day, we have to select between two different individuals. And I’ve said all along that I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think will do the least harm to the country. And I and I think that that to me, that’s clearly [Hair Furor] and the Republican administration, which I think is important. I think, you know, getting control over the border, stopping the lawlessness in our cities, building up the strength of the United States and an ever, more dangerous world, stop the avalanche of regulation that is strangling, business and our and our technological superiority. These are critical things that have to be done. And I think that we’ll get them done under a [Hair Furor] administration. At the same time, I think the Biden administration, it is, in fact, the greater threat to democracy. I think they have a totalitarian temper. They have bought into the progressive movement, and they’re trying to squelch opposition and freedom of speech.”

Barr has said that the man who called him “dumb, weak, slow moving, lethargic, gutless and a lazy, a RINO who couldn’t do the job” is the man he supports to run the country.

Oh, and right after Barr endorsed him, Hair Furor once again called him lazy and fat and stupid.

Reverend Benjamin Cremer, a Man of God, on Christianity in America today:

“Christianity in the United States doesn’t need more political power. It needs less arrogance. It needs less entitlement. It needs less animosity towards those who are different. It needs more humility. It needs more generosity. It needs more compassion and understanding.”

This is how you Christian, not with Hate and Judgement and Political Power.
