Keep in mind that when you hear that the police officers who
murdered Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo claim they had no choice but to reach
for their weapons, that, yesterday a 61-year-old white man in Minnesota
assaulted a worker over wearing a mask, rammed his truck into a police car, hit
a police officer in the head with a hammer, and sped off with a police officer
hanging to the side of his vehicle, and he wasn’t shot, wasn’t tasered, wasn’t
murdered, but was arrested unharmed. |
oh my gawd!!!
ReplyDeleteMost Folks truly just hear the horror of the police officer shootings, the media does report the findings, but our news media is centered Not as Walter Conkrike spoke.. nor Huntley Brinlkey News .. we need a comprehensive news such as the NPR news for the entire country...... CNN needs to change its programing target
ReplyDeleteThat's right!
ReplyDeleteIf this continues much longer the U.S.A. will become as much a pariah to the outside world as South Africa used to be in the apartheid era. If we outsiders can see it why can't also the huge majority of Americans, which it needs to bring about the necessary changes in the minds and actions of those with influence? Meanwhile, I suppose we'll continue to get these utterly shocking stories daily though changing nothing.
ReplyDeleteIs it still called "the greatest country in the world"?
ReplyDeleteJust unbelievable, just like Maggot Green claiming that US architecture ought to reflect the US' European origins. Architecture, like everything else in the world bar the Repugnant party, changes to reflect the world around it.
ReplyDeletePoint on. Weapons need not be the go-to when it comes to confrontation. And being white automatically gives one a benefit of a doubt in the eyes of law enforcement. These things must change.
ReplyDeleteif it's white, it's right.
ReplyDeleteif it's brown, IT'S DOWN (with a knee on the neck).
FUCK DA POLICE!
I believe the song went : "....you have to be carefully taught."
ReplyDeleteThe film South Pacific got it right but it seems that the "advice" has been lost on at least two generations if not more. We were warned.
