Architecture Wednesday: Bali In Malibu

I suppose if Bali is too far out to make it to work and back every day, this Balinese inspired pavilion house in Malibu, California would do.

And it’s not just the open airy house, or the massive pool and water features surrounding the house, the vaulted ceilings, the grand kitchen, the media room, that master bed and bath, it’s the over $1 million worth of palm trees and tropical vegetation that were brought to the site that make you feel a world away, when you’re really not.

It’s like a vacation … every day.

Must Have Vacation Spot: The Rayavadee Resort in Thailand

It's that rare combination of the five star opulence and stunning natural landscaping that make the Rayavadee Resort in Thailand a dream destination.
Cascading mountains.
Lush forests.
Lushes. Well, maybe just me.
White sandy beaches that stretch for miles.
Dining inside the glowing nook of the many natural caves on the island.
Crystalline waters are only steps away from the resort’s master suites.
Make your travel plans today and save me a spot on the beach.
