Why Is It ...

… that people don’t realize that I am actually kind of funny  and loving once you get past the 19 walls I put up.

… that when my boss told me I was all out of vacations days, I told him to sign me up for maternity leave.

… that y’all need to know that I have tried shutting up and found that it wasn’t for me.

… that people don’t understand that they shouldn’t send me mixed signals. I never even get the direct ones.

… that many times I get road rage walking behind people in grocery stores.

… that as I grow older I realize that stretching is not an option. I need to remove my spine and wring it out like a damp towel.

… that today, while I’m choosing kindness, y’all need to remember that it’s still early.

… that, while I am not bragging, I will share that my posts are enjoyed by well over three people worldwide.

… that after venting I sometimes sit back and think, “I should have kept that to myself.”

… that I am not built for anybody who’s soft. I’m mean, I talk back, I don’t listen and sarcasm is my first language.

Why Is It ...

… that I've NEVER seen long lines of pro-lifers lining up to be foster parents.

… that unless you’re music, I kinda prefer not to listen to you?

… that sometimes my road rage is so bad that I wish I could Bluetooth into someone’s car and cuss them out through their speakers.

… that they still call it a “vacation request” when it’s more of a “vacation awareness” because I’m not requesting anything, I’m making you aware that I won’t be in this week.

… that even though I keep my mouth shut, sometimes, you can read the subtitles on my face.

… that nothing seems to last longer than a video someone is showing you that you have no interest in.

… that back when I was trying to find the Yee to my Haw, all I could find was the Hell to my Naw.

… that I don’t always tolerate stupid people but when I do I’m probably at work.

… that self-discipline is so hard? Is it because I’m the boss of me and I run a really loose ship?

… that HR says I’m no longer allowed to answer the phone with, “For fuck’s sake, what now?”

Two Gun Nuts Take Each Out In A Road Rage Incident

Well, it was bound to happen …

James Pullum and Robert Taylor were driving on a public road in Ionia, Michigan when, apparently, one or both of them began acting like asshats and driving like fools and then stopping their cars to get out and argue with one another.

Pullum [left], who was driving with his wife and mother, pulled into a car wash parking lot, and Taylor [right], who had been tailgating Pullum, followed suit. The two men exited their cars and began arguing in a case of what I like to call ‘¿Quien es mas macho?’ Or, ‘Who’s the most manly?’ when Robert Taylor pulled a gun—that he licensed to carry—and began firing at Pullum; Pullum, also a gun-owner with a license to carry, pulled his weapon and fired back.

Both men died at the scene.

Both men are dead because when you carry a gun you in tend to use it, and when you have a hot temper, like, say, when someone tailgates you, or you think someone cut you off, then it’s the perfect time to pull out a weapon and begin firing.

Too bad James Pullum didn’t think about his wife and mother, for how might he have felt if a stray bullet from Taylor’s gun, or even his own, killed a member of his family because he has a bad temper. And how would either man have felt if they accidentally shot an innocent bystander whoa just happened to be washing his car that day?

But then idiots like this don’t care about others, family or strangers, they care about protecting what’s theirs, massaging their massive egos, pretending to be 'real men,' and using a gun to do so and then losing their lives over a case of road rage which never would have happened if they hadn’t had guns.

The NRA likes to say that a good man with a gun can stop a bad man with a gun, but they never mention what happens when two so-called good men use their guns to settle a traffic dispute and they both end up dead.
