A Visitor to Casa Bob y Carlos

Okay, so these aren't the newest of pictures. We had issues with our computer downloading pictures from the camera so these have been sitting on a memory card for a while now.

Yes, Blobby, I know all about iPhones and sending pictures to your email, but we here at Casa Bob y Carlos only Dumbphone™ so that idea was useless to us.

But now the problem has been solved and here's our little friend who came for breakfast one morning.

Notice how Tuxedo is on High Alert ... and possibly looking for a way to chew through the window screen!

That's our visitor under the trees, with both Ozzo, AKA The PocketDog™, and MaxGoldberg, completely oblivious!

He does find the leaves on some of the trees to be quite tasty.

Now he, or she, I really don't know, is headed to the other side of the yard; I think he, or she, came in that way.

And the visit ends with a quick glance back and a shake of the tail.

  1. Abby is proud of Tuxedo. Much bigger than a squirrel...

  2. it's a girl; no antlers.

we have these in our yard all the time. the cats regard them as "the big dogs"; they watch them but are uninterested. now birds and squirrels, OTOH, make them go apeshit nuts!

  3. I once lived in a house that had on one side the Potomac River, and on another side, a state park. We got visited by wildlife of all kinds, but it was the deer that I enjoyed most. There was one small herd that would come into the yard every day to graze. They would sometimes come all the way up to our patio and stare in at me while I was on the computer working.

  5. Very cool. Like Anne Marie, these are highly visitors around my grounds, in addition to the fox.

  7. Having wildlife in the yard is very cool. A few years ago, in the deeps of the winter we had a fox come and sit under a tree and bark (yip?) for about 30 minutes, he repeated this for about a week. Moose have taken a nap against our house, and helped themselves to all you can eat salad bar, ak our veggie garden. Had bears in the garbage, and in the back of our pickup truck!
