A Dip In The Shallow End: Hot Guys In Rio

Yes, it's been two years four years [thanks Raybeard, I was overcome with the hotitudeness] since the last Summer Olympics, and so it's time to take a dip in the Shallow End where we discuss the athletes, not for their prowess in their sport, but for their basic hotness because, yeah, I'm shallow like that ...

Italy’s Alex Ranghieri plays beach volleyball … and he has huge balls. And I do love that Australian swimmer Rhys Howden still wears the Speedos in the pool. Just sayin …

Four men who don’t take their shirts off to compete … damn damn damn … Bulgarian tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov; Jimmy Butler and his fabulous hair playing basketball for the US; Miles Chamley-Watson, all covered up and still hot, fencing for the US; Kerron Clement, sweatin’ on the track for the US.

Naturally, I’d have swimmers in the Shallow end … clockwise … Australia’s Cameron McEvoy and James Magnussen; Italy’s Luca Dotto, who also models because … why not; and Sebastiaan Verschuren, in his undies, for the Netherlands.

Now, you gotta be tough to play rugby, and it doesn’t hurt to be hot, too, since all those other beefy hot men are chasing you … Damian De Allende from South Africa, and Australia’s Ed Jenkins.

And, yes, it’s true, some of the hottest bodies are the gymnasts, though, sadly, some of them are of the Pocket-Sized variety; but I can make do … clockwise … the UK’s Brinn Bevan; Cuban-American hottie, Dannell Leyva for the US; Brazil’s own Francisco Barreto; and a pair of American brickhouses, Jake Dalton and Sam Mikulak; finally, Epke Zonderland, of the Netherlands.

And lastly we’ll end where we started last Friday with hot and oily Pita Nikolas Taufatofua of Tonga.

Who were your Hot Men this first week in RIO?

  1. Careful. With the conditions of those pools in Rio I think you might want to rethink taking a dip.

  4. Your first line - "two years since..." should, of course, read "four years". (Distracted by the pics you were ready to post?)

  6. Was feeling a tad guilty about even mentioning it (two/four years), Bob. But the key point of your post is the pics.
