Sorry, Caitlyn ... You're Over

Remember when Caitlyn Jenner told The Advocate that even though Ted Cruz is no friend to the LGBT community—in fact, I would say he’s an enemy—she likes him out of the possible presidential candidates; and she added that she’d like to be a Trans Ambassador for a Cruz White House, even though I, and every other self-respecting LGBT American knows, that a President Ted Cruz would have nothing to do with us.

And then she stepped into it further when she said that Donald [t]Rump, who has called women pigs and dogs and sluts, and accuses any women who disagrees with him, much less dares to challenge him, of bleeding “somewhere.”

Yeah, Caitlyn, that’s a pro-woman candidate; as long as the woman is posing nude on a bear skin rug, I guess. And yet still she talks … in an episode of her soon-to-be-cancelled-because-nobody-watches-and-nobody-cares, I Am Cait, she says Hillary Clinton is a “fucking liar” and a “political hack,” just before she shows a picture she posted to Instagram of her smiling and posing with Hillary Clinton.

Dear god, will this woman never shut up. No. Now, now, she says she never endorsed [t]Rump or Cruz:
“I never said that I endorsed Ted Cruz. I said I like him. He is a constitutionalist and I think we have to get our country back to something like that. Out of all the candidates, I also feel that as far as the LGBT community, he would probably be the worst and need the most help…… [I like him] because of his views to fix the country, not his views on trans issues. If that is the case, I would be at his front door. Have they contacted me? No—which I was kind of surprised.”
Seriously? You’re surprised that a giant homophobe, who appears alongside Kill The Gays pastors and has said he’ll undo marriage equality and make it legal, and probably rewarding, to discriminate against The Gays, didn’t call you for help?

I get it, Caitlyn. You’re desperate. Your show, and your time in the spotlight, is running out. You are not the new Kardastrophe. You’re the same old media-whoring wannabe that you always were, and so you’ll say anything to get a moment in the spotlight; you’ll do anything to get some notice.

I think it might be best if we never spoke of you again until you screw your head on straight and realize that LGBT issues are important and not just some means to higher ratings for a woman who has nothing else to offer the world.

You are not an icon, or an idol, or an ideal, for the LGBT community. You are an embarrassment and so, I for one,  will no longer be speaking of you or about you …

You’re done here.

  1. I applaud your decision. I think we would do ourselves and the world at large a favor by ignoring a lot of people. Someone whose name I will not mention is about to destroy the country simply because people who cannot stand that person insist on reporting every word, deed and misdeed, thus keeping that face and voice constantly before a voting public that easily mistakes words for thoughts.

    I agree about "that person".

  3. Thank you, Bob.I applaud your decision. Just because a person is LGBTQ it doesn't mean they have much of value to offer the rest of us. Caitlyn can sit down (and shut up) now and one of the many people deserving our respect can stand up! I actually liked Jenner better (and that's not saying much) BEFORE she started speaking for rest of us.

  4. So many important, informative and supportive issues could have been explored and discussed but politics was not one of them for 'that person'.

  6. I've been extremely disappointed in Caityln the last couple months. For many reasons. She doesn't know who should be buttering her bread. So she can now join the rest of her crazy family....and wait for her opinion....which a good guess will be never.

  7. Since Bruce has never gone through reassignment surgery, he can always go back to being just Bruce once this gig has run its course.

  8. I think it's sad that Jenner hasn't really reached out to trans people who do not have the same backing that she has...money, 'fame' and 'friends' in high places.
