Then I saw an ad with a Black people doing Black people things; like eating and cooking and cleaning and driving and shopping.
And as a slightly older queerling, I knew that wasn't quite right.
But now, we're getting very close to quite right, with ads featuring gay people doing gay people things; like eating and cooking and cleaning and driving and shopping.

Bravo to all these companies for having the balls! And I have always looked up to Kenneth Cole who was never afraid, and always did as he pleased with his message!

Baby steps, baby steps but progress all the same. Now if they can get rid of the hairless chested Hollywood models and have real gay guys in the ads then we will really be making progress.
i love the kenneth cole ad, its perfection. even if its just a ploy to get our money, at least we are being mentioned. more than in the past, right?
