I love the one from Mark Jacob. People in other countries don't get the almost holy reverence with which the U.S. Constitution is treated. To them, a constitution is simply a political document, and if it falls short, you throw it out and write a new one. (I actually had this discussion with someone here in the UK, which doesn't have a written constitution.)
Oh, so good. The eating cheesecake instead of killing people? Yes. Also, I hope that every teacher brings a different artifact to pray to every week. Oh, the xtianists will shit a brick. The one about Kentucky not having to answer? I'm still cackling...
Yes. To all of the above.
ReplyDeleteSadly, so.
DeleteI cannot fault a single one of these
ReplyDeleteNeither can I.
DeleteSome good memes....and sadly some so true.
ReplyDeleteThe last one hurts.
DeleteAll of these seem to reflect the fact that an all-powerful god doesn't seem to care much.
ReplyDeleteAnd if he, or she, is so all-powerful, why does he, or she, need sheep to do their bidding?
DeleteToo true!!
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)

ReplyDeleteSome folks here think we're a Christian nation but nowhere in the Constitution do they mention Jesus or God or Bibles.
DeleteAmen to what Mark Jacob said... and everyone else.
ReplyDeleteCommon sense.
DeleteEach and every one is excellent!
ReplyDeleteI especially liked the first one!
DeleteOh, so good.

They want prayer in schools, best be ready for every denomination to have a time slot!
DeleteI'm laughing at the one about Kentucky not having to answer too.
ReplyDeleteWell, I do call it "Kenfucky" for a reason!
DeleteGood collection. Gave me a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteFunny AND true.
