No, that's not a Smallville road. We dodged Florence pretty well, with not a lot of high winds--we have a couple of hundred trees on our property and they scare me waving furiously in the wind--but we had a lot of rain.
Still, there was little to no localized flooding, and even our downtown area, with sewer systems that may have been put in place when the town was founded in 1789, doing their best to keep the streets safe.
So, it's back to work today and waiting for the yard to dry out a bit before we clean up and put everything back where it goes.
All in all, it wasn't such a bad visit from Aunt Flo.

Glad you both made it through the catastrophe, along with assorted animals of course. Hopefully none of your trees came down.
