This White House Won't Fund The Fight Against White Supremacists

The _____ administration, which recently canceled a grant for a group that fights white supremacist terror, will not renew the anti-domestic terror program under which it was funded, despite recent homegrown white man terror attacks like the Tree of Life shooting.

Seriously. In 2016, the Obama administration launched the Countering Violent Extremism Grant Program to fight domestic terrorism; managed by Homeland Security [DHS], the program was given $10 million to distribute. In the last days of Obama’s presidency, DHS awarded that money to more than two dozen groups around the country to counter violent extremism of all kinds.

But now _____ doesn’t seem to think that homegrown terrorism is a problem, despite the rise in such crimes since his bloated gut took office; in fact, the funding was put on hold weeks after _____ took office.

To be fair, when the funds were finally distributed six months later, most of the original grant recipients received the money, with some receiving even bigger grants. But at least four grants were canceled, and three recipients declined the grants, all citing political disagreements with the _____ administration.

And here’s the rub … the only group that specifically fought white supremacist ideology—Life After Hate—was excluded from funding and lost out on $400,000 to fight white supremacists in this country … like those in Charlottesville and that murderer in Pittsburgh.

That’s the government under ____; money to help find and fight homegrown terrorists and white supremacists, loses its funding under a president known for his own Hate Speech.

Go figure.

At a recent White House press briefing, Sarah Huckleberry Sanders was asked what could stop the killings like the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting "from happening over and over":
"You know, I think if we had a good answer to that, I think everybody in the country would support it. If anybody knows the answer, I think certainly this administration would be all ears. The president spends every single minute of every single day looking for the best way to protect the safety and security of Americans, and we're going to continue to do that."
And yet Homeland Security has no comment on why this grant was cancelled, and as for _____ working every single minute of every single day? How does he do that and golf and campaign and Tweet nonstop?

If you Cast A Goddamned Vote, we might be able to turn this country away from the hate and fear this president feeds on—in addition to truckloads of Big Macs—and become safe again, even from Americans who seek to terrorize this country.

  1. The Enabler in Chief and his cohorts will not fund anti-white supremacist groups because they are (gasp, horror) white supremacists. Only a fool funds groups attacking themselves....on the other hand the Fool in Chief.....

  6. Asking tRump to fund the fight against violent white supremacists is like expecting Al Capone to fund the FBI.

  7. We sent in our ballots today and hope Republican Orange County, California, doesn’t just toss them in the bin when they arrive. Trying to be hopeful, but so much damage has been done.
