Architecture Wednesday: Greek Villa

It’s cold this week in Smallville and so I needed somewhere warm to live for a spell, and this home, in Messinia, Greece is perfect.

The 3500 square foot villa is actually comprised of two different structures joined together by a patio that welcomes visitors to the pool and the sea beyond.

The interior is just as spacious and airy, allowing for the easy movement of air and light throughout the home. But this is Greece after all, and there are some rustic touches, like the stone walls that give the home an illusion of age. But the interior is modern and sleek and simple and clean and so welcoming.

Plus, my Thanksgiving dinner would look excellent on that terrace!
