#PussyGate

Donald, and I will be calling him Donald, or, perhaps, Dumald — thanks to The Dog’s Mother — from now on since it was pointed out that he loves using his last name; he loves to slap on buildings and casinos before they go bankrupt; he loves to paste it into ads for universities before they go belly-up and the students start suing him; he loves his last name, so I’m not using it any more, okurrr, Donald?

But let’s talk about Donald, and about Donald talking, since we are now in the throes of yet another spate of Donald saying inappropriate things, creepy things, racist things, misogynist things and, well, even lying from time to time.

Early on in his campaign, when he was all about The Wall, Donald said, of the Mexican people:
"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
Donald has since tried to walk back his comments, but then, just this month, he said of the Mexican people and Ford's plans to build a factory in Mexico.
"They're going to build a plant and illegals are going drive those cars right over the border ... And they'll probably end up stealing the cars."
In November 2015, Donald began his hate-baiting of all Muslims when he said this, about 9/11:
"I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down, and I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering."
Then, when a Serge Kovaleski, a New York Times reporter who has arthrogryposis, a chronic condition that limits joint movement, doubted Donald’s claims about those cheering throngs on 9/11, Donald mocked Kovaleski’s condition:
"You oughta see this guy - 'uh, I don't know what I said, uh, I don't remember.'"
In December Donald posted this to his website about Muslims:
"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on. … Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life."
Also in November 2015, when a protester shouted "Black lives matter" at a Donald rally, a fight broke out, and Donald told the crowd to "get him the hell out of here." During the fight, the protester, Mercutio Southall Jr., was reportedly kicked and punched and at one point, a man put his hands on Southall's neck. Afterward, Donald suggested that Southall deserved that treatment:
"Maybe he should have been roughed up, because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing. And this was a very obnoxious guy who was a troublemaker who was looking to make trouble."
In July, Donald actually encouraged Russia, a foreign government, to hack Hillary Clinton's email to recover emails that were deleted:
"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press."
In July, After Khizr Khan, the father of a Muslim American soldier who died serving in Iraq—something Donald never did because he got five deferments during the Vietnam War—criticized Donald in a speech at the Democratic National Convention, Donald why Khan's wife, who stood next to him on stage, didn't speak.
"She was standing there, she had nothing to say, she probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say, you tell me."
In August, Donald said that, well, you gotta read it:
"ISIS is honoring President Obama. He is the founder of ISIS. And, I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton."
In September, while criticizing Hillary Clinton's position on gun control — i.e. responsible gun control — Donald called for disarming the bodyguards who protect her:
"I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm. Take their guns away, she doesn't want guns. Take them, let's see what happens to her. Take their guns away, OK. It will be very dangerous."
In another speech on Secretary Clinton’s position on gun control, Donald made what he called “a joke” about assassinating her, telling his supporters — or, as Bill Maher continues to call them “fucking idiots” — that there would be nothing they could do to stop her from taking guns away if she gets her pick of Supreme Court judges:
"Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know."
And just a week ago, Donald said this about our war veterans who suffer from PTSD—keep in mind that every single day 22 war veterans commit suicide:
"When people come back from war and combat and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over and you're strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can't handle it."
But why should we be surprised at the things he says about our military men and women? I mean, last July Donald argued that John McCain was "not a war hero":
"He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."

But what about women? What has he said, time and again, about women, including his own daughter, Ivanka? Well, in that now infamous Rolling Stone article Donald said, of Ivanka:
"Yeah, she's really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father ..."
Of course, he’s said that before, as far back as 2006 when he first said he’d date her is she wasn’t his off-spring. And howsabout Carlo Fiorina, a one-time GOP presidential candidate, of whom Donald said:
"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!"

And Donald was very unhappy at Fox News’ Megyn Kelly after she grilled him like a cheap piece of meat at a GOP Fox News debate:
"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her... wherever."
He later tried to spin it that he meant there was blood coming out of her nose.

And then came PussyGate …

In a 2005 conversation caught on tape — Donald was wearing a microphone as he was readying to be interviewed by Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on the set of “Days of Our Lives — Donald bragged about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women saying that because he was “a star,” they “let him do it.”

On the tape Donald discusses a failed attempt to seduce a woman, whose full name is not given in the video:
“I moved on her, and I failed. I’ll admit it.”
Interestingly enough, while we don’t know when he “moved” on this woman, this conversation took place mere moths after he married his third wife, Plagiarism, er, Melania.

After a voice — ALLEGEDLY that of Bill Bush — says, “Whoa,” Donald continues:
“I did try and f--- her. She was married. And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’ I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”
Before more can be said about the married woman the newly-married Donald was trying to seduce, Arianne Zucker, the actress who is will escort them onto the soap-opera set appears and Billy Bush, who was, for a hot minute, a co-host of  NBC’s “Today” show, but has now been suspended after the release of this tape, said:
“Your girl’s hot as shit, in the purple.”
And that sent Donald into overload:
“Whoa! Whoa! I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
This man wants to be president and with each and every passing day he reveals himself to be an anti-Muslim, anti-women, anti-gay, racist, tax dodging, unhinged lunatic.

But, hey, he has an excuse, y’all; it was “locker room talk”:
“I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret and the words released today on this more than a decade old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong and I apologize. I’ve traveled the country talking about change for America but my travels have also changed me. I’ve spent time with grieving mothers who have lost their children, laid-off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country and I’ve been humbled by the faith they’ve placed in me.
I pledge to be a better man tomorrow and will never, ever let you down. Let’s be honest: we’re living in the real world. This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we’re facing today. We’re losing our jobs, we’re less safe than we were eight years ago and Washington is totally broken. Hillary Clinton and her kind have run our country into the ground. I’ve said some foolish things but there’s a big difference between the words and actions of other people. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days. See you at the debate on Sunday.”
So, his method of apology is to then turn it into a political attack and, finally, as a child might do, or a stunted little man with tiny hands who has been self-entitled his entire life might do, is say, Well, Bill Clinton did it too.

As if that makes it okay; especially given that then Donald tries to pass it off as an eleven year old audio tape when he just brought up an over twenty-year old Clinton scandal. This may well be the final straw in Donald’s attempt to ruin, and that isn’t a typo for ‘run’, this country.

Hillary Clinton:
“This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to become president.”
Tim Kaine:
“It makes me sick to my stomach.”
Dawn Laguens Executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund:
“What Trump described in these tapes amounts to sexual assault.”
Paul Ryan, Republican House Speaker Paul D. Ryan:
Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified. I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has greater respect for women than this clip suggests.”
He then uninvited Donald to appear with him at a campaign event in Wisconsin.

Reince Priebus, Republican National Committee Chairman:
“No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever.”
Mitt Romney:
“Hitting on married women? Condoning assault? Such vile degradations demean our wives and daughters and corrupt America’s face to the world.”
Mitch McConnell, Republican Senate Majority Leader:
“As the father of three daughters, I strongly believe that Trump needs to apologize directly to women and girls everywhere, and take full responsibility for the utter lack of respect for women shown in his comments on that tape.”
When Mike Pence received the news, he was in Toledo, Ohio, about to view a diner’s collection of signed cardboard hot-dog buns, including one signed by Donald. Reporters were escorted from the diner before they could ask Mike Pence what he thought about Donald’s actions and words.

To be fair, after a while, Mike Pence did condemn Donald, but why did it take so long? Um, pandering? Trying to secure my position on 'the team'? Seeing how this might affect my run for the White House in 2020?

But Nancy O’Dell, now identified as the married woman Donald hit on, does have something to say:
"Politics aside, I’m saddened that these comments still exist in our society at all. When I heard the comments yesterday, it was disappointing to hear such objectification of women. The conversation needs to change because no female, no person, should be the subject of such crass comments, whether or not cameras are rolling. Everyone deserves respect no matter the setting or gender. As a woman who has worked very hard to establish her career, and as a mom, I feel I must speak out with the hope that as a society we will always strive to be better."
But there are still those who support Donald … Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council said:
“My personal support for Donald Trump has never been based upon shared values.”
Just shared hatred, I’m thinking, and I wonder how Perkin’s wife feels about his support for this sexual predator?

And even some women are still standing firm behind Donald, and taking pot shots at Hillary Clinton while doing so. Washington State Republican Party Chairman Susan Hutchison said that the GOP presidential nominee's "indecent comments in 2005 ... were made when he was a Democrat" and then added:
"The hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton to say Trump does not belong in the White House when her husband defined this behavior."
Um, Ms. Hutchinson, this isn’t about politics, it’s about character, and no matter to which party Donald was affiliated back in 2005, his comments are crude and disgusting and speak to his character. And now they also speak to yours.

Look, here’s the deal, plain and simple: Donald is a sexual predator, a serial adulterer, a misogynist, a liar, a cheat a fraud, a sideshow barker, a con man, a cheat, a tax dodger, a hypocrite, a panderer, a racist, bigot, homophobe. He's called women names, he's mocked the disabled, he's belittled families of our military.

And we know all that because he’s told us in both words and deeds and yet some of you—again, Bill Maher calls you “fucking idiots” and I agree—still stand behind a man using hate and divisiveness to become president.

A man, a sexual predator who used four ALLEGED victims of sexual assault at the hands of Bill Clinton as pawns at the debate last night; yes, a man accused of fondling women, forcing himself on women, talking so disparagingly of women, actually used women in his attacks on Secretary Clinton. Is that the height of hubris of what?

As I read on Facebook yesterday, after this last bunch of revelations into the kind of man that Donald is doesn’t change your opinion of him, or your vote, then I truly want no more to do with you. You cannot be helped; you’ve gone too far down the rabbit hole.

  1. Bill's last new rule from Friday night's show was right on the button. I don't approve of Bill Clinton's behaviour; why should I feel any different about the Trumpet's?

Apparently Donald doesn't like being called Donald which is why Hilary keeps calling him that; shame she couldn't bait him last night.

  2. For over twenty years in ministry, I dealt with the victims of sexual abuse and predators. For a long time I have been unable to watch or listen to Donald because of the visceral reaction I have to him. I was bothered by the fact that it was so strong and apparently just a gut reaction, not a reasonable dislike based on ideology and such things. I had been thinking it was the bullying -- and that is a piece of it -- but I now believe that I have been unconsciously reacting to words and behaviors that reminded me of what victims and perpetrators had described to me over the years. Oddly, now that I have named it to myself, I find I am no longer unsettled by my reactions. I am saddened, troubled, and angry. And I am embarrassed for America that this man is the presidential nominee of a major political party and that 40% of voters still think he is fit for office.

And his childish attempt to blame it all on Bill Clinton is a sign of his lack of maturity. His remarks and his "apologetic" response are those of a 13-year-old.

  8. Watching the videos of Donald stalking Hillary during the debate -- Why did none of those in charge demand he stop??? -- I was reminded of a Bible verse: 1 Peter 5:8 --"our opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion as he looks for someone to devour. "

  9. Sadly, I have lost all respect for some I called friends. They spout all the lies they've heard on FOX and use those as their reason why they hate Hillary and will vote for Trump to keep her from the presidency. Hope the election is over soon before I lose all my friends.

  10. Great post. Nice collection of Trump quotes (and not to minimize your efforts, but he's easy pickings, right?)
