Architecture Wednesday: Majorca Villa

I know it’s winter — or at the very least, fall — for many of you, but this past week in Smallville has been a little bit Indian Summer-ish, with daily highs in the 80s.

So, I figured what better time than to jet off to Spain for a stay at a modest little Sea View Villa in Port Andratx, Majorca. It offers all the amenities, starting with wide ranging, and breathtaking, sea views right up to the nature reserve of the island La Dragonera. Although located right beside the harbor, the villa maintains privacy and tranquility due to its various sun terraces, barbecue area and the swimming pool.

Spread over two floors the villa has a total of four bedrooms, all en-suite. It has an open and fully equipped kitchen with all the best appliances, a spacious living room with an open fireplace and an automated system to control al electric installations.

The villa has recently been renovated to the highest quality standards and includes new parquet flooring, natural stone floors, under floor heating, air conditioning, a Bose sound system inside and outside, alarm system, an electric security gate, four outdoor parking spaces as well as one garage parking space.

Oh, and it’s for sale for a reasonable — it’s Majorca, people — $4.9 million!
