Mackenzie Bezos Scott Continues Giving

It’s no secret I loathe Jeff Bezos, who treats his employees horrifically—Amazon drivers are given bottles to pee into so they don’t have to stop for breaks—and makes billions during a pandemic because he forced his employees to return to work or lose their jobs. In addition, the mothef%er is spending billions building a rocket so he can go into space where no one can hear their employees scream.

Look, I get it, it’s his money, but perhaps he should take a note from his ex-wife Mackenzie Bezos Scott, and give away the majority of her money, and yet still have more than enough to live a very, very comfortable.

Just recently Mackenzie and her new husband Dan Jewett made a $2.74 billion … yes, billion with a ‘b’ … donation “to organizations that focus on the arts and combating racial discrimination.” This brings the total of her charitable donations to $8.5 billion … again, ‘b’ … in the last year while her husband tries to prove his manhood by building a rocket so he can be the first rich white billionaire asshat in space.

MacKenzie detailed her continued efforts to fulfill The Giving Pledge she signed in May of 2019—her new husband also signed that pledge—with the help of a team of “researchers and administrators and advisors” to ensure their donations make the greatest impact possible, saying:

“People struggling against inequities deserve center stage in stories about change they are creating. This is equally—perhaps especially—true when their work is funded by wealth. Any wealth is a product of a collective effort that included them. The social structures that inflate wealth present obstacles to them. And despite those obstacles, they are providing solutions that benefit us all.”

Look, I don’t think she’s purposely trying to make her husband look like a self-entitled one-percent prick, but it is an added bonus.

Sidenote, Mackenzie Scott is worth about $59 billion.

  2. I was only saying today to a friend that Bezos is an utter bastard. What is it with htese dickheads that they want to spend all their money going into space. The Bezos rocket is one time when it might be a blessing if it blew up mid-flight.

  3. Bezos and Amazon can go fuck themselves. And he spends more to go to space??? For what? It's nothing more then a fucking joyride, that wont be doing any good or serve a purpose. A case of more money then brains. Hopefully he won't return. Yeah I right there. He and that company disgusts me. I agree with Helen.

Mackenzie is a class act. She realizes she will never spend that much money in her lifetime...so she is doing d=good things with it. All that money for anyone does no good if you can't do something good with it.

We have too much greed and Benzos is pictured next to greed in the dictionary.

  4. We’re on Season 3 of Mr. Robot. Is this the Evil Corp they’ve been talking about? Thanks go to Mackenzie Scott for spreading the [obscene] wealth to a world in desperate need!

  5. It's interesting to see the breakdown. She IS amazingly generous, although I suppose it's pretty easy to be amazingly generous when you have $59 billion.

  8. Mamma says never look a gift horse in the mouth...Just say thank you...BUT...I have been on a tear of rich folk/companies giving to charities/organizations/and other philanthropy...It seems that want us to like them and distract from the fact they don't pay their fair share of taxes...I don't want crumbs...I want them to pay their fair share of taxes and close the damn loopholes...Now there are some "pay fors"

  9. Very nice.
I hope she gets a break with all those charity donations. I imagine there comes a time after your fifth billion when you just don't really care about what's liquid and what's not, right?

    XOXO

  10. My sister and I were just talking about this situation tonight. No kidding. Love what this lady is doing... I hope more take the hint and follow suit. She could start a revolution... As for Jeff? Sad cause. How can you be that successful and still be a total loser?
