Their whole "judeo-Christian morality" and "family values" schtick has never been sincere. They just want right-wing judges appointed, they'd vote for Satan himself if they thought they'd get that.
They support him because they think he will get their abortion agenda through and they'll hold their noses to avoid the Trumpelstiltskin stink until that's done. Then we might see some taking the high ground but I wouldn't bet on it. I suspect what they'd really like is for the Bonespur in Chief to have a heart attack and retire, to be replaced by the (in)glorious MP
