Architecture Wednesday: Hillsden House

So … Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday, though I think, this year, I need this house in Utah to make it truly wonderful.

While a modern take on a farmhouse-style, I love the minimalist interiors; I love the library because it screams red wine and a good book. I love a fireplace in the master bedroom ... a soaking tub for that after dinner bath ... the courtyard and the backyard and the trees and the indoor outdoor kitchen area.

The snow might make it hard to go in-and-out on Thanksgiving, but it sure would signal ‘holiday.’

I love the wintry view out of the windows!

Great concept and filled with surprises. I love the way it looks out front in the snow. Much more rustic.

Too much white. I have dogs with jowls, do you have any idea what that place would look like in a month?

I do love my almost 100 year old house but damn I am loving theses contemporaries.
