I'm not convinced this is the richest country in the world. It's just the landmass with the most rich people in the world.

We're the country that's the most in debt because Republicans pushed through a tax break for corporations.

China is the country with the most money held by the government - they too have a massive imbalance between the rich and poor and it is only going to get worse across the world in times to come
Ah...but we aren't the richest nation in the world. If we were, we wouldn't be borrowing from China all the time.
