Last week, the House voted overwhelmingly to suspend normal trade relations with Russia and Belarus, preparing for President Biden to enact higher tariffs on more products and further weaken the Russian economy in response to its attack on Ukraine. The US has already taken steps to shut off the importation of Russian oil, liquefied natural gas, seafood, alcohol and diamonds and this new vote sets the stage for making it more expensive to import certain steel, aluminum and plywood items, among other goods.
The House vote was 424-8 and, as if you didn’t know, the eight members who voted ‘No’ are all Republicans:
Andy Biggs, Arizona; Dan Bishop, North Carolina; Lauren Boebert, Colorado; Matt Gaetz, Florida; Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia; Glenn Grothman, Wisconsin; Thomas Massie, Kentucky; Chip Roy, Texas.
They don’t Stand with Ukraine, they stand with Vladimir Putin in the blood of Ukrainian citizens.
Now to Miss Lindsey … on January 6, 2021, as insurrectionists attacked the Capitol, an enraged Senator Lindsey Graham called White House counsel Pat Cipollone and told him that if Thing 45 didn’t act more aggressively to denounce the mob “we’ll be asking you for the 25th Amendment” to remove him from office.Oh, it wasn’t so much that he hated seeing the Capitol attacked and Democracy threatened, but because he was afraid people would say “I don’t want to be associated with that.” Miss Lindsey wasn’t concerned about the damage to the country, he was concerned about the damage to the GOP.
It’s always Party over country with her …
And speaking of Party over country … the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is looking into allegations that Thing 45’s Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, committed voter fraud by registering to vote using an address he had never visited much less resided.Ironically, or hypocritically, Meadows has been a proponent of voter fraud conspiracy theories and has helped spread false claims that the 2020 election of President Joe Biden was stolen.
It’s always the guilty who point the finger.
"It’s always the guilty who point the finger."
ReplyDeleteThing 45 has been doing that for as long as he's been in public life.
Now, what about Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Lady G leaving their white robes and hoods at home during the confirmation hearings? Talk about Bitches....
The time has come to sever the cord. Kick them out. Vote them into oblvion.
ReplyDeleteAndy Biggs, Dan Bishop, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Glenn Grothman, Thomas Massie, Chip Roy. WHAT A SHOCK! I'd grasp my pearls if I had them on. To me they are all a bunch of treasoness bastards! That speaks volumes that they voted NO, should be noted by their stupid ass voters, but they still won't get it.
ReplyDeleteSo I say Biden should ship them off to Putin in Russia. My sorry my dears, but you have all been eliminated...now sashay, away.
Someone watches RuPaul!!
DeleteI can't with Lindsey. I just CANNOT.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Russian Assets in the Repug party? We knew that. They only stand with themselves and with fast ways to make themselves rich: politics.
XOXO
Lady G is one of America's biggest clowns
ReplyDeleteThose Republinuts questioning Judge Jackson today was sickening!
ReplyDeleteGlad Meadows is being investigated.
ReplyDeleteThat photo of Lyndsey is so pretty. Is that when he auditioned for Gone With The Wind? Oliva De Haviland got the part, right?
And remember the Red Scare? When any sign of siding with Russia could get you in big trouble? Yeah.. let's bring that back.
The best thing I heard today was from my 9-year-old granddaughter after her mother said that Ted "Karen" Cruz looked like a fox (and not in 60's slang cute) was that he looked like the evil and bad fox in "The Return of Mary Poppins" and we both had to agree!
ReplyDeleteOh, and you're right, FUCK THESE BITCHES!
xoxo
Let’s start a go-fund-me to ship [excess baggage] Biggs, Bishop, Boebert, Gaetz, Taylor Greene, Grothman, Massie, and Roy to Russian. We can throw in Lindsay as a bonus, just because.
ReplyDeleteHypocrites all
ReplyDeleteI hate to be persnickety Bob but in the opening sentence didn't you mean a Tale of Bitches… not a Take of Bitches? (Actually I like to be persnickety... hee-hee-hee!)
ReplyDeleteI just do not understand these Republicans who side with Putin. I can only hope it eventually bites them in the butt, but given the idiocy (sorry -- misinformed state) of their voters, who knows.
ReplyDelete@Yorkshire
ReplyDeleteClearly, I need to hire w new proof reader!
