This Is War

We've all read this or seen it, but it bears repeating ... please do not whine to me about gas prices.

Be grateful that you aren't sitting on a concrete floor in a train station, holding your pets or your children, wondering where your next meal is coming from and if your home and everyone you love has been blown to bits.

  1. According to Russia, the damage caused to Ukrainian cities was done by the Ukrainian military. Similarly, I guess America blamed the Japanese for dropping H bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. And didn't the inmates of Auschwitz send themselves to the gas chamber? What utter bullshit!

  2. The things coming out of the mouths of those on the right, and Putin is one, are the most absurd lies ever told.

  3. Precisely. What's going on in Ukraine and elsewhere in the world demonstrates, yet again, that there is no greater blessing in the world than living in a country that is at peace.

  4. Those pictures say it all. It boggles my mind that there are people here in America that see Putin and TFG as protectors and defenders of truth and justice. As my Irish friends say, "Jesus wept."

(Thank you for wishing my son a Happy Birthday, sweetpea. xoxo)

  5. Impossible for many of us to imagine the hell the people of Ukraine are battling.

  6. And yet they aren't attacking civilians. (Yeah, right!)

It's baffling the way the right wingers in the USA are spreading Russian propaganda and backing Putin. I don't know which side is which anymore.

  7. I know there are those in Russia against the war. My suggestion to them? Leave Russia. It is a terrible place which survives by supping on the talent of those with half a brain. Those with half a brain oppose Putin's actions. Leave Russia. Make way for a new kind of destruction. Let it fall from within.
