I don't like Bill O'Reilly.
I don't like people who say one thing and then switch it around.
We have a name for folks like that: Liar.
So, imagine my surprise to learn that Bill O'Reilly went off....again....about gay marriage, and how it would lead to polygamy and bestiality, and then i find out that way back in 2002, in an interview with gay publication The Advocate, Billy Boy said he couldn't care less about the issue of gay marriage.
Oh, at first, he gave the standard Repug response that he was opposed to marriage equality, but when push came to shove, Billy finally said:
"Look, I couldn't care less, to tell you the truth.... You want to get married? Knock yourself out. Go to Vegas. Have a good time. If you can get that changed, I'm not going to jump up and down and say I think it's wrong, because I don't."
And in this same interview, O'Reilly referred to anti-gay religious right activists as "fanatics" and "holy rollers" who were a bit "ridiculous." He even went on, get this, to express support for laws protecting gays in the workplace and more. Obviously, the religious right went wingnuts, and all of the sudden Say-One-Thing-Then-Say-The-Opposite Bill O'Reilly had an epiphany and turned all shades of anti-gay.
So who's the real Bill O'Reilly? I don't think even he knows.
