I'd Like To Say That I Have Nothing To Say Except.....

Once again Michael Steele, head of the RNC, says one thing then says another then another. At first Steele blasted gay marriage, saying that No was the only answer the GOP would have regarding marriage equality. And then he railed against Iowa when gay marriage became legal there.

But suddenly he got all quiet and shy; suddenly as members of his own party began to rethink their opposition to marriage equality, he stayed dumb, er, mum.

Even when asked to comment on Maine's new legislation approving marriage equality, Michael Steele announced he would be making no announcement.

An announcement of no announcement? Okay. But then......

Five.....Four....Three...Two..One.

Michael Steele: “Our party platform articulates our opposition to gay marriage and civil unions, positions shared by many Americans. I believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman and strongly disagree with Maine’s decision to legalize gay marriage.”

Out of step. Out of time. Out of luck.

  1. Obviously the 'party platform' is not in synch with America's shifting trend.

So to your statement "Out of step. Out of time. Out of luck." I would add "Out of synch."
