Bobservations

This morning over breakfast Carlos and I were having a casual conversation when it hit me that I had no Tales of Carlos for today. I told him he needed to do or say something silly so I could have a post.

“Oh, so I am just a trained monkey for your amusement now?”

“Not at all, sweetie pie. You’re a trained monkey for the amusement of the people who read my blog.”

And … that’s the post.

I don’t usually horde, but when I do I horde it’s champagne for an Orange Mushroom Dick in an Orange Jumpsuit … and Ivanka doing porn from the women’s prison … and Junior and The Dumb One sharing a cell.

Rogelio Vega, a Queens, New York church deacon was arrested in an undercover sting operation and gas pleaded guilty of trying to lure three teenage boys into meeting him for sex acts.

But again, it’s the drag queens who are grooming children.

I think if Ron DeSantis wants to play Publicity Stunt by trafficking human beings from Texas to Florida and then to Martha’s Vineyard, we ought to start bussing banned books to the Sunshine State.

Marco Rubio has attacked his opponent, Val Demings, for her voting record in the House, saying she votes “100%” with Speaker Pelosi … like when she voted for the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, the CARES Act.

What Little Marco—not the brightest tool in the foam party—failed to mention is that he also voted to pass that legislation and was one of the six co-sponsors on the measure.

Little Marco is a Dumb Little Hypocrite.

I’ve come to realize that football is like art; I may not know much about it, but I know what I like.

Russian airlines have stopped selling tickets to Russian men aged 18 to 65 unless they can provide evidence of approval to travel from the Ministry of Defense because Putin is scrambling to rebuild his army by force.

That’s all; he’s on the way down and grasping at anything he thinks is a life preserver.

Of note, when Brett Favre, a white former football player, secured $5 million in welfare funding from the state of Mississippi, with former governor Phil Bryant’s help, to build a volleyball stadium at his daughter’s school it gets little to no coverage from the media.

But when Colin Kaepernick, a Black player ,takes a knee in the name of equality and justice and police killing of People of Color, it makes all the newspapers and he loses his job?

Sounds about white.

Consuelo Update: apparently the Little Princess had a fever of “unknown origin” and all her tests came back with good results. I think this means she had a cold and took to her bed, AKA under the guest room bed, until she was feeling better. And she is, though the downside for her is that the vet called her fat, and so now she’s on a diet and is none too happy about that.

I have often said Tuxedo is one smart cat, and he is, as well as being quite sly. He saw that Consuelo was getting special treatment, eating in the guestroom, sleeping in the guest bathroom and getting a special treat—used to give her an anti-biotic—as well as lots of Dad Love, and so one morning Tuxedo decided he would sleep under our bed, and sleep in our bathroom because clearly that gets you something  special.

And it did ... cuz he's The Great Tuxedo™.

Aldis Hodge. Yes please. I believe he’s been here before but he’s back on TV in another season of City on a Hill and as dreamy as ever. Would You Hit It?

Poor Carlos! You're so mean to him! Shame.
I think all the liquor stores better stock up...on everything.
And I'm glad the squirrel wasn't hurt - every time I see one of those teeny cars I think it looks like a death trap.

    1. Oh, to be fair, Carlos loves that he has an audience on my blog. I think one week I didn't have a Carlos Story and he was none too please.

  2. Poor Carlos ...
Consuelo is just so beautiful ... is she a muted or pastel calico? Her face ... ❤ it!

    1. I guess she'd be called muted. She does have a gorgeous mug!

    Glad Consuelo is feeling better,
    sorry about the diet.
I like that - busing banned books!

  5. PS Vet's favourite way to make money out of pet owners - tell them their loved ones are getting fat......or too thin. Wolfie takes very little in the way of exercise over the winter but in summer he loses weight rushing around after the wild life....I do wish he'd take out the tree rat that's been digging up all my plants (don't let MM read this post).

    1. Well, Consuelo is a very VERY curvy girl and she could stand to lose a few ounces ... the only exercise she gets is running to the food bowl.

    2. My Lola doesn't even finish the two meals I put out for her, breakfast and dinner. My vet is very happy about her weight, eight pounds, but I get annoyed at throwing away uneaten food.

  6. You know that we're all dying to meet Carlos (and Tuxedo) right? We NEED these updates.
And Floriduh is the second state with more banned books after Texas (it figures, right?)
As for Mr. Hodge, you know the routine with my phone number. Kthnxbi.

  7. Between the squirrel meme and the Carlos story...you had me roaring Bob!!!!!!!! And tell Carlos.....dance monkey.....dance for us!!!!!!!

I for one would love to see Val Demmings win. She certainly is giving him a good run for his life.

And Putin....he is going to be the destroyer of his own country...and doesn't give a shit but it apparently. He and the dump are made butt buddies for each other.

And Putin just may destroy the very Russia he seems to want to rebuild.

    2. I have asked Carlos to dance ... he needs an audience with pockets full of bills, ands a g-string to wear.

  9. Well, if Carlos is the trained monkey, I guess you're going to have to dress up as an organ grinder :) Kinky!
I'm happy that Consuelo is none the worse for wear. Aging kitties need all the indulgences.
As for Mr. Aldis (Hot Damn!) Hodges, no I would not hit that. Child is younger than my sons! I'd feel waaaay to pervy!
That tweet is hilarious! This is one of the reasons I refuse to get a car I can wear as a shoe!

    1. That was on of my thoughts at first, but the vet said the tests are inconclusive. We're just happy she's back to her version of normal ... though she isn't keen on the diet.

  11. I can't tell you how I look forward to "Tales of Carlos". Please let him know for me that it is actually the monkey that has trained the organ grinder to make the music that results in his getting all sorts of treats and love.

  12. You can always count on Carlos. Good news about Consuelo. Tuxedo is so clever. I must admit there was a time when I went to football games just to admire the asses (and rate them). I so hope this is the beginning of the end (very quick end) of Sadimir Putin. That squirrel and Smart Car!!!

  14. That's one of the problems with having a little princess, added poundage. And things aren't going too well for Putiey, protests in major cities (13,000 arrested), and the untrained reservists are leaving the country. Ouch. And I did have to laugh at the Rubio bullshit, that will make a nice ad.

  17. Aldis, oh, yes, honey, please. I want his number on my cell. Clever Tux... they are so smart. And so happy to hear of Consuela's recovery. She's not fat... she's happy. Farve is a douche. And I do hope Putin is indeed losing... he's such a turd. And loved the Carlos tale. Kizzes.

  18. Consuelo is such a pretty cat! Putin hasn't learned (from the Vietnam War, among other conflicts) that forcibly drafting young men into the army to fight in a controversial war is the quickest way to turn public opinion against him and said war.

Carlos cracks me up. And Aldis -- yeah, baby.
