Don’t F%k With Jenny From Down Under

One of the best ways to get revenge on someone who’s done you wrong is to tell EVERYONE their business, even if it makes you look bad.

Yes, sometimes revenge is sweet.

Just ask Jenny, an Australian woman who took her revenge to the ad section of the local newspaper when her partner, Steve, cheated on her. Steve was a serial cheater, and Jenny had finally had enough but rather than confront him—cuz what fun is that—she took out a full-page ad in the Mackay and Whitsunday Life, letting everyone in town know Steve’s a filthy cheater.

And to add insult to injury, Jenny literally made Steve pay for the ad, though when the paper tried to process the payment, it was declined since the billing and booking names didn’t match up, so Steve got off … again.

  1. Luckily for Steve, nobody reads newspapers anymore

    1. I agree hardly anyone reads newspapers anymore, but that thing has gone viral. Heck I'm in France and I love Jenny already!

    2. The internet reads papers and then they go around the world!

  2. Mackay (Queensland) is really small and I'm pretty sure that someone will figure out who "Steve" is pretty quickly. Also, did you see the sign outside the pub in Adelaide that said "Dear Jenny, we're sorry, from all the Steves"! Brilliant Aussie humour!

    1. I love that sign! And in a small town how many 'Steve and Jenny' coupes are there???

  3. What bad business practices does that newspaper have if it runs an ad before the credit card clears? I smell a bogus story. Or a publicity stunt. Or both.

    1. Could be both, or because it's a smalltown paper their practices are lax.

  4. My kinda revenge. Reminds me of Ellie Zober whose blog I used to follow until she stopped blogging. She posted a big old sign out from "House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner ... Husband left us for a 22 year old." She was quite famous for a while ... TV appearances, wrote a book even.

    1. A woman scorned. We all know that doesn't turn out well.

  5. See, I would've added Steve's picture. I can be quite mean when I want to.

    1. It doesn't sound like it ... unless Steve had kids with any of his side-pieces.

    2. Steve isn't a very sexy name. It is the sort of name possessed by bank clerks and school librarians. Now Bob on the other hand....

  7. Gotta LOVE small town drama!
Oh, you just KNOW by now everybody and their cats know who Steve is. And his credit card? Flawless.

    XOXO

  8. What an inventive gal. I bet she had a number of job offers after that ad appeared... as a hit man.
