I tell ya...the cartoonist hit the nails of the head. And the Brit one. Not only brittle...but to be so bitter at that age. If that's the future of the GOP we have no time to relax.
Senator Katie Britt could have spoken like a lawmaker because she actually knows how to do that. But, she was not chosen for the response to display those skills. She was chosen because she fits the mold of fundie xtian submissive woman who can smile and talk in a baby voice when men demand it! And they did demand it. They were even happy with her performance. Fellow Alabama senator Tommy Tuberville, who is Britt's closest professional colleague, thought "she did very well under the circumstances...she is, after all, a mom and a housewife..." 🤯 Tuberville cannot see her as an equal or a fellow senator whose senate accomplishments far outshine his own. What he sees is the poor little girl who got attacked for her efforts and needed him to pat her on her little head! May both of them burn in hell!! 🤬

I like the cartoon that reminds us in several ways of Trump's breathtaking ignorance. I guess many of his supporters think, "What's so good about knowing stuff? I'm as ignorant as **** and it hasn't held me back!"
