Yes, it's crystal clear even from this distance that the Republican Party has become in a short space of time much less of a respectably democratic political organisation but has been transformed into a 'follow-the-leader' cult in which every criticism is near treason, now nearing being every bit as invidious as the governing 'parties' of China, North Korea or Russia - and, currently, some East European states. A greater tragedy in my own lifetime I cannot recall.
What I cannot understand is how der Trumpenfuhrer has made Russia respectable among hawkish Repugnants. And how do they sell it to themselves? Anyone would think that Putrid was advocating world peace not murdering his own citizens.
I shouldn't be too surprised to learn that BLOTUS has already called Pres. Putrid to ask - "My Lord and Master, do you think you could spare some of that lovely, effective poison you have, just a tea-cup would do, to help me deal with those nuisances poor little me has to put up with - such nasty, NASTY people. And if you want a favour in return, ANY favour at all, please just ask. Thank you".
