I'd say the last one is the best except I don't think Trump has balls, or at least not like that, probably more like the left-over pickles they forgot to put in his Bic Mac.
'Woke' includes 'far-left' - in fact it includes, and now simply means, absolutely EVERYTHING that the person saying "woke" doesn't like. Just considering all those using the word as a pejorative I'd actually be flattered and proud to be described as 'woke', as I suspect millions upon millions already are.
The forever wondering meme is the one that is most like me. Why can't we treat one another with humanity? As for the Nashiville shooting - it is beyond heartbreaking...again.
So many good ones! Thanks, Bob!

ReplyDeleteWell, if it was pickles in a vice people might not think Thing 45.

The one about Michelangelo's David.

XOXO
I keep wondering when Americans are gonna scream "ENOUGH" and start voting out these bigoted, ignorant, heat-mongering, fear-spreading assholes.

I love the one about "forever wondering if I'm truly far left." I feel that way all the time.
ReplyDeleteI am far left in many aspects especially when it comes to dead kids in schools.

DeleteI'm woke and I love it.
DeleteAll of them hit hard. I used to consider myself a moderate but have moved farther left just to maintain a sane perspective.
ReplyDeleteI have always been pretty far left and I feel fine about that.

Of note, even this morning Republicans in Congress were wearing their gun pins on their lapels instead of the American flag.

It's been so wonderful to return to the United States of Guns....and be back in the wild west again.
ReplyDeleteCan you sense my glee and sarcasm?
I'm sensing the sarcasm and don't blame you one bit.
DeletePS So glad you're and cannot wait to hear of the escapades!
We were just talking about what it means to be even “left leaning” in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteIt means you want to stop reading about children slaughtered in schools.
DeleteAmong other things!
Finally cops who actually protected amd served
ReplyDeleteIt's just a shame that we have more guns than citizens in this country and our politicians on the right don 't seem to want to do anything about it.

I also don't get the hate of people who are "other," and why we can't just treat people with respect.
Delete"the question is Why?" and the answer is ??
ReplyDeleteToo much money to the GOP from the NRA and too many people buying the fear that the GOP gets paid to spew,
