The girl does have some great pipes! Gorgeous, too. She's also rocking a classy version of the hair style that my late father always called "that damn onion!" Thanks for this, Bobulah.
This may not be the best but the girl pulled it off. She reached outside her comfort zone and said let me give this a try. My question is how would YOU do?
Very moving. She actually does better with this then with most pop songs. Her attack is... strident. But, you know what? Good for her. A very moving moment for the audience and performer alike. Plus... outdoors! So... screw subtly. Girl needs to be heard!

ReplyDeleteThanks for this, Bobulah.
I love Jennifer Hudson. She's beautiful and has a fabulous voice. But her voice is untrained for opera and it shows.

ReplyDeleteI could listen to her sing anything.
@Debra
No she's not a trained opera singer, but she has the pipes and the emotion to carry the song.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't carry her luggage.

ReplyDeleteHey hey! I get basic opera references now. I'm so happy.
ReplyDeleteDear, I meant the collective YOU-OTHERS-Don't bitch if you can't do better...
ReplyDeleteOi Vey! Imagine Jonas Kaufmann singing "Your Gonna Love Me" and you get the idea that it's probably best to stick with what you know.
