Well, look who's talking ...
My father came home from the hospital yesterday after a week inside. He has a pacemaker now, and a couple of stents, and there was a minor complication--not heart related--that kept him linger than he wanted, but now he's home and feeling better.
My brother arrived to tag-team, and so I am on my way home. I may not post for a few days because I'd like a little time with my husband and The Kids. Thanks again for all your good wishes, it was much appreciated.
Talk soon.
PS Howsabout that "Red Surge"? 🤣
Glad your Dad is okay. Welcome home!
ReplyDeleteHappy everything is okay with your dad. I was worried for a minute. Hugs, again (one can't have too many of those).
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your dad is on the mend!
ReplyDeleteGlad Dad is home and settling. With that pacemaker and a couple of stents he may feel like 35 again. Watch out!! Welcome Home!! Once you have time with the kids and see what damage has done drop us a post. Oh yes, the mid-term elections---It was a BLUE WEDDING!! What gets me, and maybe a future post for you, is how close the races were. Setting aside politics and policies-there were none on the Republican side-and just hearing what came out of their mouths the question is WHY!! You have a dichotomy of Keven Costner saying her supports our Pete B. but also Liz C. What?? Welcome home dear!!
ReplyDeleteGreat news!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to read the news. Enjoy your time at home.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear!!! Lots of hugs
ReplyDeleteand loves to all of you!
xoxo :-)
Good to hear. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteYaaaaayyyy
ReplyDeleteMy dearest Bob, I'm so sorry about your dad's health issues - I have been AWOL on my friends' blogs for the past few weeks because of my midterm election anxiety so I didn't realize you had been to stay with him. So happy all is well and that you are on your way home. I will continue to send good thoughts for your dad and all of your family. Definitely take time to collect yourself when you get home.
ReplyDeleteI have thought of you especially over the weekend because I knew you would be happy for the messages we sent in the voting booths this week. You and I will keep at it.
Please take good care of yourself, Carlos and The Kids.
Hugs to a fellow traveler
So relieved to hear that things are turning out as you hoped! Rest, for I know personally, being the caretaker takes a huge toll on yourself. And the red ripple was indeed superb news. AND the GOP may be (finally) turning their backs on the orange moron...
ReplyDeleteGood news is always the best news. Now just rest and recoup and enjoy your home and family for a few days. Then back to the grind of keeping me entertained and informed and happy.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your dad is home and well.
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteSo glad things went well. There's always the little glitch with this kind of situation. Hugs to Carlos and the kids...
XOXO

ReplyDeleteStents and pacemakers are really great fixes when needed. I hope your dad responds well and feels better soon. Take all the time you need at home before you start work again - your health is important too.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your Dad is feeling a lot better and out of hospital. Enjoy your time-out with Carlos and the feline crew.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! Welcome home! You were missed.
ReplyDeleteYou had not blogged in a week so I was worried. I am very happy to hear that your father is home now. After the hospital trauma, I hope he gains strength over the coming weeks. Looking forward to your take on the elections. Are you gloating?
