South Carolina GOP Kills Bill To Extend Voter Registration

It’s very clear that the GOP thinks the only way they can win an election is to cheat.

And I’m not talking just Donald _____ski.

Here in South Carolina, where it’s not the heat, it’s the stupidity, a bill  that would have extended voter registration, has been derailed by state Republicans, without a moment of debate, crying voter registration fraud.

Proponents has argued the bill would have simplified the voter registration process, and why is that wrong, and House members approved it with rare bipartisan support in a 70-30 vote. But suddenly, some twenty Republicans switched their votes to oppose the bill and another seven Republicans who did not vote the first go-round suddenly decided to vote ‘No’.

The final vote was 55-40 to kill the bill.

A bill to make it easier to vote in America, the land of the lowest turnout. Why? Oh, yeah, the more people that vote the more likely Republicans will get kicked to the curb, and if you can’t win because you’re better, win because you cheat.

If you ever wondered why you should Vote Blue, this is the best reason of all, because the GOP wants to make it harder for you to do so, while the Democrats want to make it easier.
